Rosewood Bracco Travel Number 5 Dog Carrier and Kennel, 81 x 60 x 61.5 cm

We just needed a large sturdy carrier for our large, 7kg cat, he hates being confined so the usual large carriers were good enough and he was freaking out and trying break out.This thing is large and sturdy enough that even though he is unhappy hes not freaking out or trying to break it.I put it together in 10 minutes and have been very happy with it, the compartments on top are the right size for snacks and toys too.Obviously Ive not tested it for air travel or anything but for our needs its been fantastic, might do a follow up review if we buy the wheels for it

My first reaction was very positive – good sturdy design (we especially liked the strong carry handles), easy to assemble, and getting the right size was a relief.First minor issue: plastic nuts. We'd been warned about this in advance and knew we'd need to replace them with metal ones to comply with the airline's requirements, so this wasn’t a surprise and went ahead with the purchase with full knowledge. But if that's already known, why does the manufacturer continue to provide plastic ones instead of metal ones?Second minor issue: the two halves were a bit bowed: when I put top and bottom half together, they touched only at the corners, with a gap of about 1/2cm along each side. The material is flexible enough to bring them together by tightening the bolts enough, so not a big problem, but it’s clearly under unnecessary strain.The really bad problem, which makes me give a 1 star, is the poor quality of the door handle. When I first fixed the door hinge in place, I couldn’t close the door because the latching mechanism didn’t work. Too late to send it back, because I needed it to transport our dog. Fortunately it is not a sealed unit, so I was able to unscrew it and look inside, where I found the components had become disassembled. I reassembled them, but very quickly they broke apart again. I repeated this several times before finally deciding the safest thing to is simply not to use the door handle, and instead manually slide each metal rod into place. The handle is simply not fit for purpose. 1 star for this.

This is a super sturdy piece of kit but somehow it arrived damaged in 2 places,front and rear to the top section. The carton it came in was rather flimsy.The only options given was to return the item within 30 days. It is a very large item and would cost me a fortune to send back. Where is the after sales service from Amazon,? Good customer service would be to replace the item and collect the faulty one.

amazing product. sturdy and big enough for my huge golden retriever

Bought the size 6 for our Cocker Spaniel. Arrived quickly in good condition and was boxed well. Found it straightforward to put together and first impressions were that it looked the part and seemed to be great quality for the money. We didn’t need to use for a few weeks but last weekend we used on a long weekend camping. It was ideal for the car and Rosie was very happy to sleep in it at night, as she is use to a crate a home. But this is lighter and easier when travelling.

I can't say nothing bad about Rosewood. All was perfect. They sent the carrier dog even I am Spain, without any extra tax. The carrier is perfect for my Newfoundland. And the information I asked, it was answered very soon, and precise as I needed.
