Great book, tried to send it to my fiance in Denver Womens Correctional Facility, but they returned it out of hand, didn't evendors send it to the book committee to review. As it falls under religion, just another example of how that prison doesn't follow the same rules they are holding others for breaking. This book goes against no guidelines or AR's and still they returned it.

It is a small price to pay for such a priceless set of books which consist of the titles, ‘Lies, The Book of the Law, Magick and Cocaine.’ This new modification of the author Aleister Crowley’s original work has very neatly been brought up to date without losing the uniqueness and the characteristic of the author’s writings. A very interesting read.

I don’t know. Maybe just not for me. Really seems like poetry and fleeting thoughts.I thought it would be a more coherent text about his beliefs and about Thelema, but it feels more like a personal diary. Barely coherent.But if you like that sort of thing and want to wade through it I suppose it’s fine. Personally, I’d rather just read a Wikipedia page.

It's not very clever, it seems like a 5th grader wrote it. There are contradictions to what he says on the same page. It's like the book is written in code and you need another book to translate it.

a must have if you are a thelemite

Absolutely terrible! A complete waste of time. The book is full of gibberish. He wrote it while high as a kite on cocaine otherwise I can't explain how 70% of the book is absolut rubbish and makes no sense. The annotations are trying to explain the gibberish but not very succesfull.People rate it 5***** mostly because it was written by A. Crowley and it's part of the counter-culture which makes it "cool" by default, but not all counter-culture is good and cool.

These collected texts from Amazon represent excellent value and a good way of building-up your 'Crowleyan' bookshelf..😈

good for reasurch and people who are dark as they feel they are and wish to walk down the left hand path.
