PowerSmart Self Propelled Gas Lawn Mower 21-Inch 170cc 3-in-1, Gas Powered (DB2321SR)

The mower arrived on Thursday, the day I cut grass, in time for me to assemble, pour in the oil, gas up and cut 3 small townhouse yards. Assembly was easy. The engine did not start on the first pull. It took several pulls. I shut down to remove and empty the grass catcher and, after sitting for a few minutes, it wouldn't start. I let it set for and few more minutes and it started. during the course of cutting, part of the time I would pull the lower backwards. One of those times the rubber shield attached to the rear of the mower came off and went under the mower and the blade cut it up. I sent an email to the company to describe this and have never gotten a response. I finished the rest of the job with no other issues. I did note that the self-propel speed is a little slower that my last mower, but not really an issue. For the price, I think the mower is a pretty good value.

I purchased this lawnmower through Amazon Prime approximately four months ago on April 17th, and unfortunately, I have encountered significant issues with its performance. Despite owning and using it only twice, the lawnmower refuses to start, leaving me extremely dissatisfied with my purchase.Upon discovering the problem, I diligently checked the engine and ensured that it was properly filled with oil and gas. To my disappointment, everything seemed to be in order, yet the lawnmower still failed to start. Frustrated by this unexpected malfunction, I immediately attempted to contact the company for assistance and a possible replacement.Regrettably, my attempts to reach the company have been in vain. Despite numerous calls and voicemails left, I have not received any response or acknowledgment from their customer service team. This lack of communication has only added to my frustration and left me feeling neglected as a customer.Considering the significant investment I made in this lawnmower, totaling over $400, I expected a reliable and functional product. Unfortunately, the faulty performance and the lack of customer support have left me deeply disappointed.I understand that technical issues can occur with any product, but it is the company's responsibility to address and resolve such problems promptly. In this case, the lack of responsiveness from the company has been highly frustrating and has left me questioning the quality of their customer service.I urge the company to take immediate action to rectify this situation. As a customer, I expect a replacement lawnmower or a suitable resolution to be provided promptly. Additionally, I hope that the company improves its customer service practices to ensure that other customers do not face similar difficulties in the future.In conclusion, my experience with this lawnmower has been extremely disappointing. The persistent starting issues, coupled with the lack of response from the company, have left me dissatisfied with my purchase. THIS MOWER IS A BIT HEAVIER THAN I NEED, BUT THE OVERALL IS GREAT MOWER, EASY TO START, EASY SPPED, NOT FAST LIKE MOST OTHERS ARE. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE MANUFACTURER'S DESIGN FLAW....THE SIDE CHUTE IS HELD ON BY ONLY 2 SMALL NIPPLES LIKE TABS WHICH BREAK EASILY OFF WITH THE TIP OF YOUR PINKY, SO, I HAVE TO SPEND A FEW EXTRA TIME OUTS TO PUT 2 BOLTS WITH WING NUTS ON THROUGH THE SIDE COVER CAP INTO THE SIDE DISCHARGE CHUTE TO HOLD IT IN PLACE. THE BAGGER COULD BE A TAD BIGGER DUE TO FILLS UP FAST IF YOU HAVE THICK GRASS. OTHERWISE, I STAND BEHIND RECOMMENDING THIS UNIT FOR MOST ANYONE, MIGHT BE A BIT HARD TO HANDLE FOR WEAKER ADULTS NOR RECOMMEND LIFTING BY YOURSELF BECAUSE IT DOES TAKE A FEW MUSCLES TO LIFT TAILGATE HIGH IF TRANSPORTING FROM PLACE TO PLACE. LOVE THE POWERFUL ENGINE, LARGE GAS TANK FOR A PUSH MOWER, NO PRIMING, NO ADJUSTING AND IT ADJUST HEIGHT WITH ONE HANDLE WHICH I LOVE, EASY OIL ACCESS. I DO RECOMMEND ANYONE HAVING A SELF DRIVE PUSH MOWER, IF YOU LET OFF THE DRIVE HANDLE TOO FAST, THEN OCASSIONAL BELT POP OFF, IS EASY TO PUT BACK ON IF YOU HAVE HAND STRENGTH TO HOLD THE SPRING LOADED PULL ADJUSTER BAR TO PUT BELT BACK ON, MY LARGE HANDS ARE ALMOST A TAD BIT TOO BIG FOR THE AREA, BUT IT HAS ONLY POPPED OFF TWICE IN I BELIEVE 3 TO 4 MONTHS RANGE. BOUGHT IT WITH MY STIMULOUS CHECK BECAUSE MY RIDER & 2 OTHER PUSH MOWERS NEEDED TO MUCH REPAIR WORK, PLUS WAS REALLY WET SPRING SO THE LARGE WHEELS DO HELP AND DOES PUSH FAIRLY EASY FOR A BIG PUSH MOWER IF NOT USING THE SELF DRIVE UNIT, FAIRLY VERSATILED UNIT, BUT AGAIN, DON'T TRUST ALL THE NUTS & BOLTS AND SUCH TO BE NICE & TIGHT. WHEN YOU DO THE SMALL ASSEMBLING & ADD OIL, JUST GO OVER UNIT TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING NUT & BOLT & CABLES ARE NICE & TIGHT SO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE EARLY SHOP REPAIRS UNLESS YOUR A HANDY HOME MECHANIC. WILL BUY AGAIN DUE TO THE POWERFUL LARGE MOTOR 192 CC.!

Lower tube on handle broke off. Tried to contact seller, rep promised an email to me to finish warranty but she never sent. I tried every way possible to contact seller for days with no response

Runs good, good price

I want to like this mower, I really do as it cuts pretty dang well. However, the cable that connects it to the handle and makes it a self propelled mower snapped within an hour of use. I have called the customer service number multiple times, every time I'm on hold and then they magically cancel the call. The review is more for the criminal customer service.
