Great ice cube trays
I know other reviews talk about a bad smell or imparting a weird taste to the ice cubes, but I don't have that problem. When I first got them, and every time I've cleaned them since, I put some white vinegar in the wash water, and when I fill them I use filtered water, not tap water. They're great. They can be flimsy if you try to carry them one-handed from the sink to the freezer, but if you hold them with both hands you shouldn't have a problem. I love how flexible they are because it helps tremendously with getting the cubes out. WIth hard, plastic trays you have to twist them really hard to "pop" the cubes, and almost give yourself carpal tunnel. With this, just a little twist to pop the cubes, and a small press on the underside to get the cube out, and voila. Just wish the lids stayed on when I don't use the entire tray in one go. I also love how small the cubes are, they're 1 inch square, much easier to handle than the bigger ice cubes. Never going back to hard plastic trays.

Much better than plastic trays
I ordered these ice cube trays for my sister in law, whose fridge does not have an ice cube maker. They are way more economical than buying bags of ice, and these trays are a nice silicone material that won’t crack or break when trying to twist the cubes out of them like the plastic ones do. These trays are sturdy and hold their shape when filled with water, so you don’t easily spill when transferring from the counter into the freezer. They do have lids, too, which makes stacking them really easy. She doesn't put the lids on tightly at first, to give the ice just a little extra room to expand if needed. The lids are also nice if you’re using the trays for anything other than ice, say for homemade gummies or something, then you have a lid to keep them fresh. The frozen ice cubes are easy to pop out of the flexible silicone molds, no more struggling and twisting and ending up with small shards of ice cubes from them getting stuck in plastic trays.

Decent
I love MOSTLY everything about these trays. The 3 pack was a great value and the size of ice cubes is just right. They are easy to fill, and the top is nice feature. The trays are silicone so don't expect the top to snap closed or anything but as long as you dont overfill the trays, the tops stay on very nicely. If you stack them on top of each other in the freezer they will take longer to completely freeze just FYI. My only real complaint is that it can be tedious to get the frozen cubes out. You don't necessarily have to press each cube to get the ice to fall out but there will be a few left in the tray after you try to dump them in your ice bin. BUT i think this is the way with ALL silicone trays so it is what it is. They do a good job, did not come with any weird smells and dont take up a ton of space in my freezer.

Best ice cube trays ever
OMG! These are the best things ever. They are easy to fill, easy to crack, and finger pop out. They fit perfectly in my icee coffee bottle and water bottle. They are also the right size for my personal blender and as a treat for my dog. They are a great size too as they don’t take up a lot of space in my freezer. This set was a great price and I couldn’t be happier with it. Great product.

Excellent product UNLESS you want to use filtered water
The good: It's easy to get the cubes out one at a time. (Removing them all at once would be more challenging.) The trays are made of silicone, which is better for the planet (and you) than conventional plastic, which is prone to shed tiny bits (microplastics) into anything it comes in contact with. The bad: The individual compartments are isolated from each other, making it impossible for the water level to even out among them. Furthermore, the dividers between compartments are exactly the same height as the rim, so if you try to even out the water level by tilting the tray back and forth, you'll slosh water over the rim... defeating the purpose as well as making a mess. I think the designer intended the trays to be filled by holding them under a tap. That would fill all the compartments, and the mess would go down the drain. I fill mine from a countertop water filter, and any overflow goes straight onto the floor. So I fill the compartments one at a time, using a slow dribble of water so I can stop before they overflow. It takes forever. Finally: Because the trays are made of silicone they are floppy, not rigid like conventional ice trays. Thus it's almost impossible to handle them when they're full without spilling. I deal with this by using the rigid plastic top as a support. I slide the tray off the top onto a freezer shelf, then put the top on. Carefully. Bottom line: They do the job, and the silicone is a plus for your health and the environment, but if you want to use filtered water they're very difficult to fill. Sooner or later I'm going to replace them for that reason. Morphone, if you're listening: next time, design them with a lip that's a couple of millimeters higher than the dividers, and with holes between compartments so the water level will equalize!

Happy with the ease and size of these
Cubes are about 1 inch square. I put the lid under the tray when transporting it to the freezer because it's a little floppy. Once they're frozen, I put the lid on top. Very easy to remove cubes, even if I only want a few at a time, and even if I've over-filled a section.

this product is exactly as advertised. i'll go through the most common complaints i've found. people complaining about it being small, i dunno what they're talking about. the dimensions are exactly as listed. the cubes are about half the size of those old plastic rectangle ice cub trays. people complaining about the trays being hard to use. what?! again, i have no idea what they're talking about. they're silicone trays so they're not stiff like plastic trays. what you can do is you use the lid, put the lid on the bottom of the trays then bring it to your fridge, once you put it in the freezer shelf you can take the lid out from the bottom and put it on top. the other point about difficulty of use is people saying the ice cubes are difficult to remove. i think their problem is they're fully filling the squares, when the water freezes it expands and the water goes up over the top of the tray which then freezes over on the squares next to them. so you get a layer of ice that connects all of the squares together. so you just don't fill each square all the way to the top. fill it like 80 or 90% and the cubes are RIDICULOUSLY easy to remove. you just twist the tray, and then you can literally just push the cubes up from the bottom. they slide right out. lastly people are complaining about the white film that get's left over. this is probably because they have hard water. i had the same issue but coincidentally i was getting a water softener installed a few days after i got these. i noticed the white film stopped happening after i had the water softener installed. my guess is the hard water residue doesn't stick to the silicone so they end up stuck to the ice, whereas plastic trays the residue probably sticks to the plastic which you can wash off. i think this is maybe the only real complaint, but given the convenience of the silicone vs plastic i don't really mind. plus i solved the problem through sheer dumb luck anyway. in short i love these ice trays. they're very handy, you get 3 of them which is plenty of ice. super easy to use and convenient. the only issue is if you have hard water you'll have that white residue in your ice that ends up sticking to your cups etc.

I really love these ice cube trays. The ice is the perfect size and not too hard to get out of the mould either. I would say that they are a little hard to store in the freezer as the silicone is quite soft but with the lids its not too difficult to stack them. Would definitely recommend.

I use it for meal prep of my puppy's raw diet. I usually pour vegetable or fruit smoothies into it as part of my dog's diet and take out 3-4 ice cubes at a time. It works as expected. The ice cubes are easy to remove than most plastic trays and the lid makes it easy to stack three trays on top of each other. Yet the lid is not leakproof but if place carefully when it's still liquid, it won't be a huge problem. After use, I just put it on the top rack of my dishwasher and the shape maintains well so far. May come back for more.

Does the job, stack-able and a space saver in the freezer. Use them non stop. Lid, once the ice is frozen and removed doesn't lock in, but does when you are filling it with water.
