Good, but not great.
Took a little long to get here, but after making a test cut, I was happy. This thing is light, it should hold up but it isn't the thickest aluminum you can buy. Also was missing a screw for assembly, and yes there is assembly with a horrible one page instruction picture to guide you. Should have bought the clamp for the work piece as I can see the legs moving off of the guide while cutting. Also, the metal bar to hold the piece you're cutting has two screws that protrude and doesn't allow for a flush fit. As long as you align the cut with the blade and keep it pushed against the screws, you should have a fairly accurate cut. I wouldn't use this for very precise cutting. I use this for table leg cuts to be done quickly, for that is great.

Be careful when using this jig
1. Be careful when using this jig.2. Have a table feed extension in place prior to use.3. Buy lock washers or star washers for all the screws and bolts, they're NOT included. ( I found out the hard way after using this a couple times that the hardware works loose from all the vibrations of the table saw) Noticed that my angle cuts were off and one of the adjustment nuts had come loose and shot out the back of my saw!!!!!! YIKES ....

Had an old craftsman jig that broke when I dropped it. the new one is much lighter, but feels flimsy. also one thing I did not like was the two rivets on one end holding the pieces together would get stuck on the tablesaw where the cover plate goes over the blade. you had to lift it over to continue the cut.

Unimpressed
This jig, in my opinion, isn't safe to use. It must make use of the rip fence but there is nothing to keep it against it, save your own hands! It can't be clamped because the whole jig needs to move through the area of the blade. Moreover, the instructions were small and difficult to see. Last, there weren't even any lock washers included to keep the machine screws from working loose. All in all, I am very disappointed and somewhat fearful of using this jig.Update: I just finished watching a video by Woodworkers GOA, and I have decided to keep the tapering jig (aluminum). I will still warn potential users that you must remain alert while using this jig.

For cutting tapered edges
I am a serious woodworker. Several times I have built jigs to help me cut edges that taper at particular angles. This adjustable jig allows me to cut an edge at any angle I choose. It is a big help.
