I spent weeks repairing a wood floor and repainted it for use as a nursery. The pad was purchased to lay under an area rug. After one weekend of my sister in law sleeping on an air mattress on the carpet, the pad stuck to the floor. Pulling it up left a grid of carpet pad that will have to be scraped off and the floor repainted. The pad is inexpensive, but do your research. Spend the extra money and get something of higher quality.

Needed a padding to protect the floor from the scratchy back & prevent slippage of 2 rugs/mats I had cut/bound from a remnant left from carpeting just installed. This mat was not quite 1/8" thick so didn't add any real height that would cause the doors to catch on it; spongy; & was super easy to cut to the sizes I needed for both mats. The width left just a 1-2 inches at 2 sides, which is what I wanted. Feels like it will stay in place without being too sticky. I'll be checking to see if it sticks to the wood laminate flooring. Will update this review ONLY if I have any problems; otherwise it's a solid 5-Stars

Would probably work well for most, but my 20lb cats still manage to displace my rug daily as they race up the hall. Still, good product for the price, and does help limit rug sliding from several feet to just a couple inches.

Price was right. There was a chemical smell but it aired out within 30min. It is thin but it holds my rug in place on my laminate floors. Would buy again.

Works wonderfully. Rug no longer slides when dog runs on it.

Works as intended, even the dog and the grandkids running over the runner rug doesn't make it slip.

It smeeled so bad when I opened the package, I didn't use it. Will try airing it out and see if that helps.

Just what we needed. Fits our rug perfectly. When we opened the package, there was a strong smell that went away after a day. This was probably from being in our mailbox for a day or so. But is gone now. I wish I had gotten a bigger size so I could trim it down and used pieces for our dogs new bed that slips on our floor.
