15 PACK OF UTILITY KNIVES & 15 REPLACEMENT BLADES

DANGEROUS!
These blades are TOTALLY unsafe! This was a purchase made for the office, and I don't typically leave reviews, but I just want to warn any other users - don't get these blades! They slip out every time I try to cut down a box for recycling, and are difficult to put back into place without risking slicing your hand open. Would rather spend twice as much on a blade that doesn't risk my safety and that of my employees. Lesson learned on trying to skim down the cost! You really do get what you pay for with these - or even less, in my opinion. I could get the same job done with safety scissors with less risk than trying to use these.

Don't EVEN Bother
Was excited because my old ones were crap. These are too. I've used two so far & the blades fell out on the first swipe & when I try to put them back, they won't lock.

It's 15 box cutters for 13 dollars.
What more is there to say?Are they incredibly sharp and durable? No.Are there any unique features that set them apart? No.Is the locking/slide mechanism completely fluid and reliable? No ( I haven't had any issues, but I wouldn't trust exerting too much pressure on the blade)But it's 15 box cutters for 13 dollars. I'm the type of guy who used to spend like $18 on a really decent box cutter, only to leave it outside one day to get rusted up or to just lose it altogether. This makes far more sense. They are made of plastic and the blades aren't super durable, but they do the job and there is rarely ever any need for a high quality box cutter.I've spread them between the house and the shed out back and none of them have broken so far.

Good for opening boxes and cutting paper, dangerous with cardboard or drywall
These are usable and sharp enough for light duty tasks such as opening boxes (cutting the tape) or cutting shapes out of paper. Trying to cut cardboard or score drywall (do a light scratch cut on the surface, for breaking a drywall panel by bending it) resulted in the locking mechanism breaking and the blade slid out from the cutter freely. If you apply some force while cutting, watch out for your fingers. Trying to break off a section of the blade by twisting sideways resulted in the whole cutter cracking (plastic is very flimsy). These are very affordable though, and they still work if you're looking for single-use/disposable box cutters for light duty tasks. For other tasks, I'd recommend a utility knife that takes the 61mm double-edged blades.

Doesn't stay lock...
Use these and notice that they DON'T LOCK, appears to lock but once you start using it, it becomes unlock and the blades just slide forward all the way.

Annoying; They will not snap off at the "break-line" and often end up breaking SQUARE
We use box cutters all day and these are annoying. These blades are a bit flimsy and when you try to "SNAP' off the dull portion, the blade just bends and will not break at the scored line. Our employees are afraid to try to break them so we usually have to do it for them. The plastic piece from the back side that is suppose to help facilitate "SNAPPAGE" is worthless and will usually break if you try to use it. (the same holds true for the slide adjuster, they fall apart too) So, we thought, we'd use two pairs of pliers to make the break, even lining up the pliers with the angle of the break line and still it will usually break square instead of at the correct angle. The savings of a few dollars was not worth it. The ORANGE ones have always worked great so we are going back to those for the quality. I would not recommend these at all.

They're 'alright'..
They're exactly what I was looking for, seeing as I order a lot of stuff online. So much easier than fiddling around with scissors, a screw driver or something else to easily open up taped boxes. First few times you use one, it's definitely sharp and does the job well. After a few uses though, the blades seem to dull pretty fast. Also had one that I was just using to cut a box up in pieces and the blade just went flying out. Sure that was probably more so my fault, not having it locked in place and sticking out a bit more than I probably should, but again, blades seem to dull quickly.I may come back later and edit my review to maybe a 4 after I use them a bit more. I would recommend if you needed some cheap ones and didn't plan on using them hardcore on a daily basis. Casual use - sure.

Worse set of Knive's I've bought.
If it wasn't for the extra blades I'd give it a one. Blades lock erratically, slip off the holder and the entire blade slides out. When you crack the blade to get a fresh tip they rarely crack along the line. They crack straight across. So far every one has also cracked the plastic. Buy someone else's and avoid these.
