I have always given my Rottweilers raw bones from the butcher but unfortunately, our butcher packed it in and they are no longer locally available. These treats are more expensive and don't last as long as real bones but my three do love them and so I can recommend them as Rottie approved. They have had no digestive upsets from eating them, either. At $2.50 each from Amazon compared to $3.18 each from Wal-Mart, this is where I will buy them.

My English Bulldog loves these.. HOWEVER they only last about 3 min and I got these because other reviewers stated that there were 2 bones per package, for a total of 16 bones per order... there isn't. there is only 8 bones, which makes a $30 price tag not a good buy... save your money and go to Target where they are only 2.50 each.

The dog loves these. We've got a big yellow lab and we bought these for her to keep her quiet for a while. It turns out to be a really little while, though. My dog can get through one of these in about 10 minutes. It's not rawhide, though, so at least she doesn't gas us out of the house after she's had one. You're dog will love 'em if your budget can stretch.

I like the busy bones. My pit has to work at it a bit harder than she does some of other "large" bones on the market. I do wish it would last a little longer. She can finish one in under 5 minutes. I'm giving it to her because I want her to be BUSY. Not distracted for 5 minutes.

Not as hard to chew as I hoped. Dogs love them. But no real lasting power.

I would've given these a 5 star if they lasted a little longer. Our 75 lb. golden retriever just loves these! She get excited just seeing the package but...if takes her only about 3-5 min. to devour the whole huge bone! Seriously, these are great!!

The "busy" in the title is misleading- I can tell you from experience that a full grown lab will keep "busy" with even the largest of these for no more than 2 minutes. But they are crunchy enough to give the jaws a little workout, and apparently tasty enough to serve as a good treat. They're pricey, so I tend to use them as a special reward rather than an everyday treat. Sometimes these are cheaper at the local pet store, sometimes Amazon has better prices. But Amazon usually has the larger sizes, whereas many pet stores don't carry the truly large bones.

I bought one of these bones for my lab/shepard mix, 65 pound dog, and she loved it. I bought the first one from Petco and the large size was 8 dollars. Amazon is over 50% cheaper and there is free shipping. Before committing to 8 bones, you can do what I did and head on over to your local pet shop to see if they carry these bones and then see if your dog likes them. It takes my lab about 1 hour to eat the whole bone. I really like that it breaks into small pieces which eliminates my worries about my dog choking on a big piece of bone.
