it doesn't connect to any computers. it only prints in black and white. it uses the large cartridges. it cost between $ 70.00 & $ 100.00 depending on where you buy it. the cartridge last MUCH longer than the cartridges you buy for the printer for your computer. I will print something off my printer but if I need more copies I use my PC Personal copier. it prints makes 3000- 4000 copies depending on how dark you make your copies. It's great !!! the cartridge is much cheaper in the long run.

Hello, DB...The Canon PC170 is just a stand-alone...there is no USB or other connection and it is not wi-fi, either. This model is simply a copier with one plug into an outlet! Very old-fashioned, but OK for its simple purpose. I previously owned a PC 120 and just bought a 170 as the other one wore out. I use it for B&W copies only, and to transfer my B&W sketches to printmaking blocks for eventual carving, using acetone. Probably much more than you wanted to know!
