Pros/Cons Yes I recommend it !!!!! :)
Waited to write until I have used this steamer a few times. (Everyday now for 2 weeks)Pros:It was very easy to put together! Yeah!Heats up quick! Yeah!Awesome on Khaki Pants. 100% Cotton. Does a GREAT job!!!!Takes a bit longer to steam 100% Cotton Button Down Dress Shirts. I find if you steam both sides the inside and outside it will look better. Yes takes a bit longer but the look is a cleaner crisp look.Does a great job on the sleeves and collar.Does awesome job on kids school shirts and skirts. (Kids love to use it)Cons:Not tall enough. I find that I have to bend or even sit down to steam bottom of shirts and pants. The extender should be longer. The lettering is off the handle already from the steam.Gets very hot with steam so watch your surroundings. The white tubing gets very hot. (Should be a longer holder handle)The hanger can be annoying at times. Uggggh! The steamer itself needs a longer tube to reach around the back so you can continue to steam in one action. When twisting the cap on make sure its on even so no water will drip out. (I think this is why some leaked you have to make sure you twist the cap on even)I have a hard time steaming Dress Shirts with pockets. (The front pocket takes longer to steam)Even with all the cons I would still recommend and use the steamer everyday. I hate ironing!!!!! I do feel that in the beginning it did take or feel like it was taking longer but now that I have used almost everyday for 2 weeks I LOVE it haven't touched the iron at all!

I feel like people write reviews on products that compare products to something completely different! I almost did not purchase this product due to the reviews of a lot of customers, but then I noticed a trend in the negative reviews. Example: "dry-cleaning looks better" "this did not save more time than ironing". Before writing this review I made sure to re-read the item description to make sure that it did not claim that it was faster or better than other methods. Guess what? It did not! Some people like to make waffles in a toaster, some in a waffle iron. If you like ironing, well then iron. Does not mean that this steamer is crap, just means you prefer other methods. So for you potential customers that may be confused, let me clear things up for you. I took a cotton dress shirt, severely wrinkled and used the Rowenta straight from the package on it. Did it work its magic in two minutes? No! But it worked its magic, that is for sure! I hate ironing by the way. Why? No clue, I just do not like it. So being able to wheel this steamer right on into the living room where my newborn was finally taking a nap, and plug in and use was so convenient for me. Right after, I was able to roll it right back into a closet out of site. The shirt came out great! Seriously, my husband was quite impressed when he saw how it took out all of the wrinkles. So everyone else saying it does not work on cotton, it worked great for me. I read the directions first though, and took my time. I would rather take ten minutes out of day to steam it though, then packing the kids and car up for a trip to the dry cleaners. Yes, I know steamers do not clean the shirts; but when your husband wears suits and sits in an office all day, a trip to the cleaners is not necessary every use. I steamed it in my living room, had it sitting on my hard wood floors and not a drop of water was on the floor, so not sure why some reviews had complaints of puddles. The hose does get warm, but I did not get a third degree burn of any sort from using it, and I had quite the pile of shirts to go through once I realized it worked amazingly. It touched my arm and hand here and there and even after about 40 minutes of use, it was warm yes, but not anywhere near a burn. After all this rambling on, my point is that this is a great steamer and I would highly recommend it, unless you enjoy ironing or trips to the dry cleaners; then do not buy it and give it a bad review because you miss what you prefer.

My new favorite!
I bought the Rowenta garment steamer to use for my daughter's wedding. The dress shop wanted $100 to steam her dress & I could buy a steamer for less than that and keep it! I saw this one advertised on TV, and Amazon.com had a great price with free shipping. It is easy to put together & works great. We used it for the bridesmaids dresses, the groom's linen suit, the creases in my husband & son's slacks & anything else that needed to be done. I now use it every day instead of an iron, it is like magic! It heats up in 60 seconds & in less than a minute you are done! It uses tap water which is a plus. It also has wheels and you can minimize the hight so it makes it easy to take along where ever you are going. I just loaned it to a friend for her son's wedding. I would highly recommend it. The only negative, and it's no big deal, is that you need a small towel to wipe up the little bit of water that is left in the bottom when you are done.
