Kerrits Stretch Competitor Koat 4-Snap

I've been struggling for quite a bit now to find a comfortable, forgiving show coat that I don't dread wearing. They all seem to be way too small, way too stiff, arms not long enough or way too expensive. After checking reviews, I decided to order the Kerrits Stretch Competitor Koat. I have to say, I am absolutely in LOVE with it!!! I cannot wait to show in it. It is stretchy and forgiving, and I will be able to throw it in the washer versus having to get it dry cleaned. Not to mention the price is amazing!! And the sizing is TRUE (maybe even a tad large) - not a 1X that fits like a women's 14!!! For anyone struggling with sizing and comfort when it comes to a show coat, I HIGHLY recommend this coat. I ordered the black, and will definitely be ordering the blue as well!

This coat is extremely comfortable. It's light weight, stretches with your movements, and doesn't restrict your ability to ride effectively. I like it so much that I bought three (one black with white piping, one solid black, and one eggplant - which is LOVELY). It does run large. I have a ton of Kerrits clothes. With all three of the Koats I had to order one size smaller than I normally wear.

I love this coat. 5 Stars for all features. My only issue is that is slightly small. I tried a Large on in store and was too big. There is a large gap between a Medium and Large. Everyone said they run large and to go smaller. I did. The medium is good and stretches. It doesn't cover the tush as well and kinda sticks out. But, I do lift weights and am of more of a athletic build. But I have worn this almost every weekend for 2 months and washed it after each use and has done great!

I love the coat it moves with me not tight in the shoulders and the has 4 buttons with a zipper closure as well and I love that, the fabric is light which is great for the hot days

Coat fit, but actually ran a bit large.I would have kept it, however the material was not something that was proper for showing at the local shows with, let alone a breed show. Well, IMO. It felt like a thick, stretchy, polyester.

I'm 5 foot 6, 115 lbs and I got a small. It fits well. It's a little roomy but since I'll be jumping, I'd prefer some stretch. This coat looks smart. Got the black with the stripe. Material does look good. I hand-wash it and iron it cool or iron it inside out as a hot iron could leave a scorch mark. I like the cut. At back the tail is open to allow for a comfortable ride.

These jackets are amazing! The stretch fabric makes them cool and comfortable. Great for lower level dressage or stadium/ show jumping. I have full range of motion in both arms while wearing this. The sizing seems to be pretty generous too; I wear a 12/ 14 in regular, women's clothing and the large fits well without looking too tight.

This is a very nice jacket. It fits true to size. The fabric is nice and the styling and detail are tasteful and set it apart from other jackets.
