The Mahaswamigal himself has pronounced the author as a 'Kavignar'. Very rarely is such a title conferred upon one by this great sage. That said, the 10 volumes originally came out many decades ago during the 20th century and still reflects the truth behind a simple but a resilient tradition. Hindu Dharma has been in existence since the dawn of time. This book does not narrate the history of the religion but shows how our ancestors sub-consciously preserved meaningful traditions even though they were not aware of the great efforts they were putting forth - they were just a living a lifestyle that their ancestors followed which automatically became a strong foundation for the very religion they were practicing without intruding upon others. How does the Kavignar succeed? His very life is an example - he often draws experiences from his own life and relates them to the Hindu Dharma and proves these are beneficial to all and why a patient life is worthwhile than a fast and fanciful one. A must read for people of all ages, especially youth. This was a great find in Amazon Kindle store and I immediately bought it. I cannot carry this and other physically bulky books everywhere I go but would be great if I could have it everywhere I went and thanks to Kindle, now I can have this and other great writings with me all the time!

Hardcore binding quality is not good. Front page of the book itself torn and not stick properly. I like the book, so I haven't returned. Adjusted with the book condition.
