Sleep Original Pillow for Sleeping, Standard, White

First and foremost this is one of the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever used. Idk if it’s primarily due to its filling material, bc of the pillow within a pillow design, or all of its features working together, but it delivers great support while lying on my back or on my side, while still being amazingly comfortable. If you like very thick and/or firm pillows or very thin and/or super soft pillows then this is almost certainly not the pillow for you, but if you like a comfortably soft yet supportive pillow, this pillow strikes a great balance. I just got my pillow a couple days ago, and so haven’t seen how it will hold up to repeated washing cycles and normal use, but the fact that it has an outer sleeve that zips off means it will be a lot easier to wash than any of my previous pillows. Hopefully the fill material in the outer sleeve won’t bunch up during washing, but so much thought was clearly put into the design of this pillow that i have to believe they accounted for this and the sleeve will be fine even after many wash cycles (fingers crossed anyway). One example of their attention to detail is in the zipper on the outer sleeve: it’s a high quality metal zipper pull and mechanism that has had all of its edges and corners chamfered to prevent any poking or catching. Plus it’s been coated in what feels like a polymer paint to give it a smooth finish and prevent any noise. The only thing keeping this pillow from being perfect is that the fabric is a little noisy while my head is moving around trying to find the perfect position, at least for now while it’s brand new anyway (the pillow, not my head). That’s very common with cotton fabric when it’s new though, so i feel confident that it will quiet down considerably after a couple of washes. I have unusually acute hearing, so most people probably wouldn’t be bothered by the sound it makes even if it doesn’t quiet down after washing. For now i feel it deserves top marks, so I’m giving it 5 stars. I’ll see how it holds up over time though. Hopefully its quality endures, but if it doesn’t I’ll update my review to reflect that.

It's comfortable, seems to be very high quality, and I'm happy with my purchase. I really have zero complaints. I'm not sure I could justify the cost if doing it again though, but also not sure how many pillows I'd have to go thru to find one this nice either. Hope it lasts long enough that I don't have to try anytime soon!

UPDATE: I did indeed order the Casper Sleep Essential Cooling pillow. I reached out to Casper and they told me it is basically the Casper Original pillow, but with an improved cover that is more breathable so hopefully the Essential Cooling pillow will actually be cooler than the Original Casper pillow. The representative also said they are very similar in comfort. He said the Essential Cooling pillow is manufactured specifically for their partners, which is why I couldn’t find it on the Casper website.Hope this helps! Very comfortable. Not too soft so has good support. I’m only giving this 4 stars because the description specifically states “100% cotton cover features a breathable percale weave which increases airflow, so you’re always sleeping cool.” This pillow sleeps very warm! It would be perfect for a cooler climate, or the 30 days of winter we have in Florida! This pillow is super comfortable though! Although I’m returning it, I ordered the Casper Sleep Essential Cooling Pillow, so hopefully this one will indeed be cool!

I'm fortunate enough to be an amazon vine member. That being said, i RARELY leave reviews for non vine products. But I hope this review will help someone. Backstory: I had a harder foam pillow. It pretty much didnt compress much. It worked fine, but after a year or more, i kind of wanted something new. I received a cheapo normal pillow for xmas. It was serta too. But like all cheap pillows, at first, it was great, firm but super fluffy. Then it compressed to less than half its size. and OH MAN. Did it kill my neck. I had serious pain. Queue my search for a pillow. I started searching high and low, reading a ton of reviews. Turns out depending on whether you are a back, side, or stomach sleeper, you need a different pillow. and everyone is different. The search got ridiculous. In the end i said f' it and went with this pillow. The reviews are great, so i took a shot. This pillow has an inner pillow and an outer. After taking out of the box, it of course fluffs up pretty intensely. First few nights, its like sleeping on a cloud. For 2 months, the pillow held the fluff. I was impressed. Around the 2 month mark, i started getting some shoulder/neck pain. The pillow started to lose its fluff despite me trying to fluff it up. When this happens, give it a wash. As per the instructions, I separated each pillow, inner and outer. Zipped outer. Did light detergent, delicate cycle. Dried in a delicate cycle as well. And now the pillow is like new and then some! Super fluffy. I'll report back if things change, but overall this is a great pillow. It saved my neck, and I hope it saves yours too.

Reminds me of the pillows at the Voco. So high quality and comfy. I wish I didn't have to pay this much but Kohl's nerfed The Big One. Oh well. At least I have this.

Super soft, but too thick for a side sleeper. At first it felt amazing sitting up in bed or even first lying down, but I’ve slept on it for 3 nights now and my neck is hurting. It’s best for a back sleeper. This would be perfect for a side sleeper if thinner, because it’s nice and soft.

This pillow is so comfortable! I’m a side and stomach sleeper and find it to be a great balance- both soft and still supportive. This Casper original is ideal because you can unzip the outer pillow from the “core” to wash which also makes it easier to dry. The fill makes the bed look great and my king pillow cases fit the pillow with no issue. I’m able to adjust the stuffing/fill as needed during the night, but I rarely wake up! Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this pillow , I have purchased so many pillow and they would all be too firm or so soft they had no support . I read the reviews on the Casper pillow and thought I would try it , they are expensive but finally I found exactly what I wanted , so pillowy soft but a firm inner so lots of support .

I have spent so much money on different pillows and have never been comfortable or have woken up with neck pain. Personally the Casper pillow is perfect as a side and stomach sleeper. It is soft yet supportive, has a good weight to it, provides neck support without being too hard and I wake up with no neck pain and feel rested. It has a firmer pillow inside the softer pillow, is easy to remove and wash in the washing machine. For me it is worth the money to have a peaceful and pain free sleep. I will never go without a Casper pillow again!

I rarely post reviews, but this pillow is simply fantastic! I'm mostly a side sleeper and an occasional back sleeper, and this superb pillow is appropriate for both positions, i.e. medium-firm support which is soft, deep, and luxurious. This pillow matches up to the high quality pillows I've used when staying in top hotels. I did a lot of research, and even ordered a few pillows from elsewhere (subsequently returned), but this is by far my best purchase of the year so far. Highly recommended.
