Good jacket light breathable and workable

Possibly the best value waterproof out there
As a yong rep' I sold hundreds of both Flexothane and Dritex garments many years ago, (over 30), along side various PVC waterproofs and while Flexothane wasn't quite so tough as Dritex it was and still is an excellent material for keeping you from both wind and rain. It's not breathable but unless you build up a sweat you'll find some of your perspration will wick away through the light twill lining. If you get wet it's almost certainly because you've not fastened it properly and water has crept in so do it up properly if you're out in heavy rain and you'll stay completely dry. It's comfortable, stretches and not at all easy to tear or puncture, it's oil resistant, washable and folds down easily. I've got a pair of the bib and brace trousers but decided on getting the jacket too as I'm fed up after taking the dog out in rain only to come home and have dry legs and/or wet arms, shoulders, back etc even if wearing a properly treated gore-tex coat.
