Amazing Drapery Hardware 25 PCS Plantation Shutters Tilt Rod, Louvers Staples, Replace Missing Staples

Did not know how I could fix my broken shutters, the staples had come apart and for more than 15 years I just left it. After having house guest for over a year, had to go through and clean, clean, clean, and the broken shutters were on the list to repair. Did my research, found my staples on one of my fav sights, and the beauty is they were shipped to me the next day!!!!! Project if almost done, staples work excellently and can be cut if too long (I needed some to be a bit smaller than received), to fit the area where they are to be placed. Thanks so much for the fast service, never had shipping that fast, and you didn't even know it was needed immediately, you just did your best without asking what was needed additionally. B R A V O!!

These staples are much narrower than the staples I intend to replace so I returned them for a refund. No dimensions are provided in the item description so I expected these staples would match. They are also only 5/8" long but I could have used super glue to hold them in place if that was the only issue. Apologies for the very poor quality picture. The staples arrived collated, in a sealed package, so it was difficult to hold them next to one of the current staples with one hand while using my other hand to take a picture with a mobile phone.

I must have had ever tool in the tool box trying to fasten these babies in. They are tiny, need glue on the tips, and there is only a tiny space to maneuver them into place.

Shutter Companies charge at least $75 just to show up. I got these staples and replaced 6 missing ones on my plantation shutters in in less than 15 minutes. I used some crazy glue in the little holes and inserted the staples carefully with needle nose pliers. Carefully is the key word...you gotta connect the shutter staple and insert the pointed ends of the new staple into the wood louver controller piece.

Great to replace staples that fell out of my shutters. They are slightly thicker so fill the existing holes securely. Would definitely buy again.

I personally found this to be a high price for staples but couldn’t find them anywhere else. Exactly what we needed to repair our plantation shutters.

Perfect fit to replace missing staples.

For whatever reason we lost a couple of the staples that attach the open/close rod to a few of the shutters. I could't find a replacement at the big box stores and was happy to find a solution here. Slightly tricky when you try to attach the first one, but once you turn the lever the right way you are able to put in place and things are back to working normal again.

I used these items to effect repairs to 30 year old plantation shutters located in my kitchen, family room and master bedroom--all of which remain in great condition save for the occasional dislodged staple. Now they move with the synchronicity of dancers!
