Had to modify to install
I have a Kohler toilet with the enclosed "skirt" that covers everything below the bowl). My toilet base has nut receptacles for the bolts, but they are embedded in the porcelain. There isn't a hole that goes all the way through, so there is no way to place the plastic nut on the bolt. I ended up going to the hardware store and buying replacement bolts (stainless steel) to fit the length and thread pitch on the threaded inserts, and then I cut/trimmed the provided washer-things and added wahers so the bolt heads would not slip through. Presto! That worked fine.In fairness, none of the toilet seats I looked at had any notation of fitting this kind of toilet base. Some listed additional hardware enclosed to work with other seat attachment, but even Kohler did not have a replacement seat to fit this model of their own model toilet. So just a heads-up if you have any kind of seat attachment that is non-standard. If you are handy, you can probably adapt this, or any toilet fitting, to your requirements.

Sturdy
Look, it is probably as important as water and heat. You gotta have a toilet seat that makes you happy. This one does. It’s a sturdy one with some weight on it but oh so smooth to shut. You can’t even hear it shut. Took less than 5 minutes to install.

The toilet seat was okay, I loved it. It has been easy to install and clean… but now what and how did this happen? It has just been 5 days pass the return date… it’s like dry rot or something…May I have a replacement. I have sent a message to the manufacturer… Help

This was a very good choice
The toilet seat is comfortable, very well-made, does not look cheap, as a matter of fact it looks like a paid a fortune for it. Unique looking. I recommend this to anyone who sits on a toilet.

This product is NOT elongated (18.5) as advertised in the title. It is round (16.5).I'm not criticizing the quality of the product because we never tried it.A simple FYI for you and Amazon. Thx.
