Phenomenal
I wish I would have found this way before now. Compact and easy to use, this is a great kitchen gadget. The adjustable knob for crispiness is a nice touch. The device doesn't take long to warm, and from there it runs like a champ. A measuring cup is provided, though eyeballing the amount worked best for me. The nonstick surface allows for a quick easy clean-up. If you enjoy a good waffle, this is the one for you.

Very Nice Waffle Maker
I've had this now for several months I think. It works great for us. We usually keep the setting on 4 which gives us a beautiful golden brown Belgian waffle. The cook time is great, clean up is easy and storage is wonderful because it does not take up too much space in the cabinets. The spatula-fork that came with it works great too. The family and I are pleased. I recommend trying this product.

Nice waffle maker
this works really well and the batter scoop is nice to have. I like the overflow ring, definitely doesn’t hold a lot of batter though so be careful not to pour to much in general

Done light is hard to see
I love this waffle maker. It's easy to use and makes great waffles. Only things I'd change is the grill plates don't come off and unit can't go in water, so getting it soap and water clean isn't possible. It does wipe off easily but, I would like to clean it more thoroughly. The only other issue is the light that tells you a waffle is done is hard to see in anything but low light. It does make a soft click. If you are standing there you can hear it. Otherwise, I have to cover it with my hand to see if light is lit. Aside from this, it's a great little machine!

Love this waffle iron!
This is a great appliance. It makes a good size waffle. I like to make an entire batch and freeze them, then toast to eat later. They cook quick and well, are consistent in how done you set them to cook for, are easy to clean, and store compact up on end. I got the red and it is a beautiful color.

My maker overfloweth
This a decent little waffle maker, and the red color I purchased looks great. But the single reason I bought it was for the "anti-overflow" design. I overheard my wife lamenting the fact that her old waffle maker is such a pain to use since it always overflows out the back and is ridiculous to clean. So I bought this one and made fresh waffles for Mother's Day. I very carefully followed all the instructions, used the included measuring cup to pour in just the right amount of "thinner" batter, and literally 10 seconds after I closed the lid the batter came bubbling out the front! I thought perhaps my counter was sloped or something, so I checked it with a carpenter's level... Nope, a perfectly level counter. I made a few adjustments and tried again and got several non-overflowing waffles... yes! I mastered it! Followed by several overflowing ones... Drat, spoke too soon. After several batches of waffles, my best advice is to use even less batter than the lowest line (1/8" to 1/4" lower), pour slowly back to front so that the layer of batter near the front of the waffle maker is thinner than at the back, and close the lid slowly. On the plus side, the waffles are excellent... Fluffy on the inside and just barely crisp on the outside. The temperature control and latching lid are easy to use. And even though it overflows, it only overflows out the front so it is still easier to clean than the old waffle maker. My wife accepted her gift with grace... and I learned not to give appliances for Mother's Day, as I am now the designated waffle chef forever more.

Veni,Vidi,Vici. Bought it, used it, loved it.
It really means "I came, I saw, I conquered" But in this case it's just about the same thing. Yes, another glowing positive review. Read and follow the instructions and you will conquer the art of making delicious waffles. Perfect waffles, no cleanup. I've had it for about three weeks and no problems at all. Nothing sticks to it, not even chocolate chips. Temperature control is perfect. The range goes from light to crispy in only 1 cycle. No need to wait for another cycle to get nice, crispy waffles. I love it and have no complaints. Yes, measuring cup and overflow is great too. Inside and outside finish is excellent. The red one is beautiful and as far as I can see is only available on Amazon.

What a great little machine!!!! When it arrived, I removed the plastic protector between the plates that is used to prevent rubbing when in transit. I wiped down the interior and then put the protector back. Big mistake! For those of you with a working brain, remove the plastic film and if desired replace it with an old towel or micro-cloth when storing the unit. As I was saying, remove the plastic before heating the unit. I forgot that the plastic was there, since it does not stick out. I opened the unit to add the batter, and it looked like a spider web inside. I left it open to go cold, and then wiped out the plastic webs. No, it did not damage the plates. They are non-stick and did their job. I then added batter. I have a recipe for a single waffle. Guess what! It can make about one and a half waffles. I could hear a squeaking sound coming from the unit. Batter was oozing out the sides. The overflow groove can only handle so much. I cleaned the counter, and waited for my waffle to finish cooking. It tasted wonderful. After another complete cool down I wiped off the outside of the unit. It heats up quickly and cooks quickly, wonderful unit.

I really like it. Non stick. Cooks them perfectly. Very easy to clean. There are a few things that could be improved. It doesn’t beep when the waffle is done. There is an indicator light that goes on when done but is hard to see if there is bright light in the room I need to cup my hand around it to see if it is on.

I have used the waffle iron 6 or 7 times now. It took me a couple of batches to dial in the settings. It is probably recipe dependant but I landed on setting '4' for about 3 min 20 sec. I set a timer as the ready light can be easily missed if you're not staring at it. It will do light and squishy through to crispy. My old iron took a little longer so the speed is appreciated. I don't know what the seller is referring to with the materials being 'aluminium' and 'iron'. I got the red model. The housing is plastic and the grill is probably aluminium. I imagine the black one is the same. The construction quality is about what I expected for the price point. It's good but probably won't survive a drop. I like the cord holder clips on the bottom. The non-stick coating works well, no extra oil is needed. I like the drip catcher mote, it works well. All in all, this is a good waffle iron at a good price.

Overflowed after ONE month – unsafe and disappointing This waffle maker started overflowing badly after only a month of use. It didn’t matter what ingredients I used—it kept spilling. Today it overflowed so much that batter splashed all over my kitchen and onto my hand, causing a burn. The return window is closed, so I’m stuck with a product that feels unsafe to use. Very disappointing and not something I would recommend.
