The time you have to ride your bike and the weather at that particular moment of the day don't always agree. You need to get outside whatever the conditions, and that's when this GORE-TEX jacket comes in. Light, breathable and fully waterproof.

Great commuter jacket
This is my go to commuter jacket for temps above freezing. It's packable, incredibly breathable, has a great fit, has room for layering (comfortable fit, not spandex tight), and is reasonably waterproof. On the waterproofing, normal to light rain is fine, but a sustained heavy downpour (i.e., 30+ minute thunderstorm) will start to get you wet in places where water doesn't easily roll off. I guess the C5 of C7 shake-dry jackets would be better in this regard, but they're not as durable. This jacket does seem to hold up well - six months of regular use for me and it shows no signs of wear. All in all, highly recommended.

Nice fit, allows for layering
Unlike many cycling jackets I've tried on, this one is designed to allow for layers on a normal body, not to form fit a string bean.

Fabulous jacket, according to the wearer!
This was purchased for the bicyclist in our family, who rides to and from his destinations as often as he's able to do so. I wanted a waterproof/windproof jacket that was sturdy and also fairly visible. He wanted something that was going to keep him warm and keep him dry. This does all of the above. It's really well made, it fits well while still allowing layering beneath if needed, and is seriously windproof. He's also been pretty happy with the waterproof, though there haven't been any truly soaking-wet rain days since he got it several months ago. And he loves the fact that with both the waterproof and windproof, it still breathes.I purchased a large. He's 6ft3in, and generally wears a men's tall medium, with the occasional large item here and there. The large fits him well, with still enough room beneath that he's happy, but it's not too big. The primary usage it sees is bicycling, but he also wears it for almost anything he needs to do outside, and has barely touched his "regular" winter coat since it started getting chilly. This was totally worth it, and I highly recommend it, as would he.

Wow, this item is well worth the price
Rain bounces right off this jacket. It is a little short up front (2xl), but I do have a bit of a beer gut. As I encounter often as a slim upper body but a big belly, many high-end gear doesn’t fit right. I’m 5’10, 240 (all gut), I recommend 2xl

So far, so good
Finally splurged on a Goretex jacket and it’s made a big difference from the glorified garbage bags. Been in a couple of rain showers so far and come out dry, a bit warm but not soaking in sweat. Fit is good. Not slim fit, but not too baggy either. I’m about a 41R and the large was a perfect fit. I usually just wear a base later underneath but I could probably do a light fleece as well if needed. Sleeves aren’t too long, I’m about a 32/33”, and the wrist Velcro closures aren’t too constricting. Time will tell, but so far happy with the purchase.

Go with Gore and get a great product
This is a great bike jacket. I wanted a higher quality jacket that would offer both wind protection as well as being waterproof and breathable. The Gore product lives up to the quality of all the products they manufacture. You get what you pay for with Gore. I have another rain jacket I use for travel that is packable and has Goretex lining and it is totally waterproof. The fit and feel of this jacket met all my expectations.

Love this Jacket
I have had many lightweight rain jackets for running and biking and this one is by far the best. It keeps you dry and it breathes so you do no sweat. It is also brighter then bright.

Too Hot for AZ
Great jacket, good quality/material, great features. I bought this for cold weather running here in AZ (low 40's/hi 30's). Unfortunately I over heat in it, its that good. Great insulation, waterproofing, etc. Highly recommend for colder climes.

GORE SIZES ARE NOT ACCURATE
GORE SIZE CHART DOES NOT REFLECT THE ACTUAL SIZES WITH OTHER BRANDS.I USUALLY WEAR LARGE SIZE AND ACCORDING THE CHART I HAD TO ORDER XL OR XXL.SO IF YOU FOLLOW/ORDER WITH THE CHART YOU WILL RECEIVE VERY LARGE CLOTHES. I HAD TO SEND THEM BACK AND ORDER AGAIN THE PREVIOUS SIZE. OF COURSE I GOT CHARGED WITH THE EXTRA SHIPPING.

Sizing problems! But a good jacket on the face of it
Bought this as fed up of getting wet!!! and reviews of the C3 were all positiveUnfortunately the sizing seems odd, as with most cyclists clothing manufacturers the range of sizing can differ between them and Gore are no different - I wear an XL in Rapha/Castrelli and Large or even Medium in most others. I found the large in this jacket to be just about right in the arm length and across the shoulders but lots of room at the chest and below - I would be concerned to order a medium without trying on as I suspect shoulders would be too tight.I would class myself as average build for a 6" fairly regular cyclist!!!

Gore does it again
Gore does it again. Yes, it’s expensive, but simply nothing feels so incredibly light, while stopping the wind and rain completely and preventing sweat build up. Personally I like a loose fitting jacket so I went for the large size and I am a skinny 38 chest and 33 waist. It does feel a little baggy and long in the arm (I have short arms anyway) but the benefits of being able to fit a thin fleece underneath and not feeling restricted outweigh the aesthetics - not that it looks ridiculously big on me. My only small complaint is the colour range. My last jacket was orange and I much prefer that colour, unavailable here. Though my wife says this is much more visible so it’s probably just as well. BTW I’ve worn this continuously since I bought it for my 20-mile round commute to work nearly every day and it’s bearing up very well. Worth paying for if you can afford it. I imagine this will last me years.

Great Jacket
I got the xxl as I never find decent cycle clothing that fits my frame. I am 5'8" with 36" waist and 44-45" chest. The jacket fits well and has room for other garments underneath. The sleeves are long as I am short and tubby, they do though have adjustable fasters so can be tucked up above my gloves. I wore this jacket over a base layer only at 8c in the rain for 2hrs. It was warm enough without even having a jacket underneath. There was a small amount of dampness from perspiration inside afterwards which i would expect but nothing like the plastic jackets. Where sweat dripped out of my cuffs. You get what you pay for and this is worth the investment.

Quality feel
This feels like a quality item. I tried a large and medium, and found those sizes to be comparable in fit to outdoor jackets from other well known manufacturers - in other words the sizes seem fairly standard. Material is fairly soft/flexible compared to other goretex jackets that I own.For a cycling jacket it has minimal reflective areas, which is perhaps less than desirable. This is a jacket from the ‘C’ range/style which I presume refers to cycling. There is also an ‘R’ style which is perhaps for running? The listing isn’t clear.

Geniale Regenjacke
Gekauft in XXL.

Totally waterproof!
I bought this jacket for my husband at Christmas time and although he has been wearing it he felt that the recent weather has been a real test of its quality. He commutes on his bicycle ten miles each way daily and this coat has kept him completely dry during these awful storms. On really cold days he needs a thin jumper underneath but it is an excellent buy.

Super product, dodgy sizes
As you’d expect from Gore this is a superb product. Really breathable and comfortable to wear. Just one watch out, Gore sizes are wrong. They come up really big so beware. Worth every penny though. Highly recommended.
