Works but is not SAFE
This unit works well (25mVp-p). I would have given this 5 star rating except:1) No manual2) No On/Off switch3) No AC plug connector on the unit. This is a safety issue.I would not mind paying extra money if it does not have these issues as described above

Add a couple of large heatsinks and it gives close to rated output
Like that it's cheap. I took unit apart for QC. Found some near shorted leads, flux and a couple marginal appearing solder joints. If the transistor mounts are crooked or screws loose, this supply will overheat fast when loaded. I bolted my surplus heatsinks to back and left side. I used some right angle pieces to mount supply to a base they elevate unit above base by about 15mm, this improves cooling greatly. Without the heatsinks the supply couldn't deliver half the rated current before going into protection.

Noisy fan...
The unit produces 12v output as advertised but the cooling fan is quite intrusive.

Book this P.O.S UP AND IT'S DROPS DOWN TO 6V FROM 14.5V .. IT'S A JOKE NOT WORTH THE TIME OF MONEY SORRY I BOUGHT IT
