KILZ TRIBUTE Paint & Primer, Interior, Satin, Palo Verde, 1 Gallon

I personally love kill paint. This holds up to their quality. Easy cleanup when I dropped paint. Took two coats, but after the second coat it looks great! First coat was streaky but the 2nd coat fixed that easily. This particular color is really pale. I wish I had gone a shade or two darker. When I finished the kids asked why I used white, they thought it was gonna be green. But aside from being light it looks fantastic. One can did entire kitchen easily.

I'm an older female and very inexperienced painter who was so pleasantly surprised (notwithstanding the many top reviews) at how easy this paint was to work with. First, the muted neutral green shade Palo Verde is beyond beautiful in its ability to establish a pop of change-up color while still seeming totally at home with existing furniture and décor elements destined to remain in the space. The coverage, in addition, was excellent as I alternated between roller and brush application to finish different areas. (I was changing just parts of my 650 sq. ft. apartment, doing selected walls only.) Painting over bright white and then ivory, I did decide to do a second coat to achieve a virtually flawless finish but can understand why several reviewers found that this could be bypassed. AND it was incredibly low in odor.Though I considered this paint to be pricey when I first found it on Amazon, I now think it was a really good buy.

Beautiful color, painted my kitchen, living room and hallway area with it. Holding up well. The feeling of it is very nice. Quality paint.
