High quality, works well, and saves space
These 25 Double Slimline CD Jewel Boxes with Dark grey/Black Tray do exactly what they are advertised to. They hold 2 CDs in the same space as a normal jewel case. It holds the CDs securely and the CDs are easy to take in and out. These are much better than normal slimiline cases that cannot be labeled. It might also help to know the cases I received are the exact same outside dimensions as a "standard" CD case, yet the inside plastic inside is like a double sided slimline insert (which must be why they call it a double slimline). So until you open one up it looks and feels exactly like a normal "standard" sized CD case.Unlike single slimline cases these are nicer and do a much better job at holding the CDs than any single slimline case I have ever used, and unlike some slimlines the CDs, the CDs in these cases only rest on the center hub and the rest of the CD does not contact the plastic at all that I could see (it is a very small gap but it is there). And as I mentioned earlier these cases holds the CDs securely and the CDs are easy to take in and out (unlike most normal slimlines I have tried).Note:The reason why some of these reviews have called these cases "standard" and some "slimline" is because the seller (checkoutstore_inc) describes these as "25 STANDARD Black Double CD Jewel Case" on the Amazon page 25 STANDARD Black Double CD Jewel Case , and yet when I placed my order, the order description stated that I had ordered:25 Double Slimline CD Jewel Boxes with Dark Grey / Black Tray #CD2R10DG(HOLDS 2 CDS IN THE SPACE OF ONE STANDARD SIZED JEWEL BOX!)Sold by: checkoutstore_inc (seller profile)So exact same product, just different descriptions by the seller. To label these new boxes I bought "Product OL1825WR - Removable White Matte - 3.5" x .25" Labels" from "onlinelabels . com" and they work very well with these cases using a inkjet printer set at high quality paper/photo quality printing and using a Microsoft Word template or the web based template offered at their website. The website template works but the Microsoft Word template is much faster and easier. Only thing is these labels do not go across the entire box so you might prefer some that are longer than 3.5" but for me these worked great and I especially like that if you have to you can remove the labels and put on new ones [update: the glue for the removable labels could have been a tiny bit stronger, so if I was going to order more labels, next time I would try Standard White Matte OL1825WX (Laser and Inkjet)].Amazon does not allow hyperlinks to outside companies in reviews so here is the URL of the labels page with extra spaces put in so that it would not be removed auto-removed, so if you want to use the below URL just copy it, delete the extra spaces and then paste it.http : // www . onlinelabels . com / Products / OL1825wr . htmTo store the cases I use a Case Logic brand "CD30 Nylon CD Case (30-Capacity)"( CD30 Nylon CD Case (30-Capacity) )and using these Double Slimline cases and the labels mentioned I am easily able to store and organize 60 CDs in the same space as 30.

Excellent for the price
I was doing a project for my brother's class that required two DVDs per person, and this case worked well for holding two discs and a paper insert in the front. Sure, they are kind of flimsy, but I've yet to see a case this style that wasn't. These are definitely of comparable build quality to anything else I've used and better than some. The reason I deducted one star is that the discs are somewhat difficult to remove. I would like to see a better release system (perhaps it wasn't not feasible due to space constraints). The three tab system they use is usable, but it did annoy me the first time I tried to take a DVD out.Besides my one small complaint, I found these cases fit my needs quite well. Due to the relatively low price, I'd give them a 4.75 star rating if I could, but I don't feel they quite deserve a 5 star.

Good build at a good price
For me the most important thing about getting CD cases is if they work reliably. These double CD cases are easy to flip from the front to the back without being "too" easy (i.e. the case flying loose). The CD's can fit securely in the case without feeling loose, or too tight. The cases are also easy to slip in your own covers, both front and back. I won't go so far as to say these are the best quality dual cases, what with the plastic being a bit thin. However the fact you can fit two CDs in a case about the size of a single CD case does make things lots easier when storing. I think you can't go wrong with these for the price.

They work as advertised and here is the major PLUS...
I prefer the standard-size Jewel Boxes over the slim ones for one simple reason. I can insert a SPINE LABEL to be read when the disks are stored like books on a shelf. In order to know what's in the slim cases you have to page through them like old time record albums in a box! You have to look at the face of every one in order to know what the general contents happen to be. When you have lots of offline storage (as I do), there are considerations. I do not like large-capacity storage media. No BluRay for me. Dual-layer DVDs are ideal. I can put two in a double Jewel case and they take up only as much space as one regular case. Since I have multiple disks in every category of storage, pairing them in sequence is OK and it cuts the size of my disk collection in half.

Just what I needed
I do a lot of CD burning, and until I found out about this product, I had problems with how to store double-CD albums with slimline cases. First, I tried binding two together with a rubber band. When those began coming apart, I tried gluing two cases together. That was messy and the cases didn't hold together very long. I saw that there are slimline double CD cases, but they only provide for a single jacket insert, and I need slots for two. Then, I found these cases and - problem solved. They are just like the commercial cases that are sold with pre-recorded CDs, and there are insert slots on both panels. The center panel, which holds the CDs on both sides, swivels easily and just clears the rear jacket, so that the paper doesn't crinkle up. These cases are great and I only wish that I had known about them earlier.

Functional double disc jewel cases
These boxes are nice to keep 2 discs together. There is still room for a card to be placed inside the case. Keep in mind that the disc is placed flush against the backing on both sides of the case. Also, the hub of the backing makes it a little difficult to secure & remove the disc. But for me, where I make double backup copies and want to keep the copies together, this is a great solution.

Double Slimline CD Jewel Boxes
These are wonderful slim cases that hold two DVD's or CD's. The cover is clear, so that you can put in a printed cover of your own design and it looks very professional when presenting to my clients. However, my order of 100 had 13 broken cases right out of the packaging. The little plastic dot that is the hinge for the cover breaks off and then the front cover comes off. Or, the piece of plastic that the hinge is attached to will break off with the same results. If the hinge doesn't break, these are one of my favorite packaging items for the projects that I work on.
