I was looking for a backpack to use as a carry on bag for a long flight and a week away - but having some health issues I needed a back pack that was both tough and light weight, offered plenty of packing space, had both chest and waist straps and plenty of pockets. I thought I was expecting the impossible - until I found this one! It holds - two long skirts, jogging bottoms, night wear, toiletries, at least four tops, underwear for a week, socks and tights and various other bits and pieces and there is room to spare. It's light and comfortable to carry, sits well on the shoulders, the back is very well padded and the big zipped pocket on the back is so useful. I thoroughly recommend it and am very happy with this purchase - thank you! PS - It also had to comply with airline under seat regulation measurements - and not be too expensive! This one ticked all the boxes - it's a great find!

I am delighted with this backpack! I have looked at much more expensive ones and they haven't been as comfortable, lightweight or useful as this one. The hip belt is very comfy and the two pockets a good size . - I'm using one for a small pair of binoculars. I like the handy inserts behind them for things like gloves, bags, scarf, whatever. The two side pockets take a litre bottle each easily. The stretchy back pocket is handy for things that you want to get to easily without having to take everything off. The phone pocket is useful for when you're using it for mapping and need easy access, etc and the fact that it is detachable means you can put it in the main bag if it's not needed frequently. I prefer that it hasn't got a built in raincover as that gives more leeway - if there's a chance of rain, take one separately; if it's completely dry, then you're not carrying that extra weight around needlessly. It doesn't have a frame and therefore can get a bit sticky in hot weather but I found that by using the hip belt, I can have the two shoulder straps loose and therefore have some air going through. I've now used the backpack for two lengthy walks (12 miles +) and it was very comfy. I'm 5' 7'' if that helps.I'm glad that I ignored some of the older comments as the design has been modified to get rid of some of the elements that weren't quite right at the start. For example, the chest strap doesn't ride up and is moveable to get a good fit. The phone pouch can be moved around and doesn't sit high up.I rarely write reviews but thought that this is too good for other people to miss buying it due to old reviews and lack of feedback.

There's lots to like, but I do have some niggles. Firstly, the main compartment doesn't hold as much as others with same overall capacity, & the inner compartment doesn't really hold much at all. One of the main attractions for me was the side compartments on the waist strap, which are great but I find they are just too far back to be very easily accessible (& I am small) & the side mesh pockets are barely reachable when wearing the backpack. That said, the bladder compartment is totally fit for purpose and the wide straps make it very comfortable to wear. Overall I like it a lot, but I don't love it

Having just done the Yorkshire 3 peaks with this rucksack I can honestly say it’s perfect for hiking. The front pouch for your phone and side pouches on the waist straps (which I filled with snacks) means you don’t have to take your rucksack off to access your phone for photos or snacks!I also used a cheap 3 litre water bladder from Amazon which fitted perfectly, also meaning you have water anytime you need. The size of the rucksack is ideally for a days hiking. As well as the 3 litre water bladder I had a pair of trainers, more snacks, a waterproof, gloves, hat, and a fleece. I switched to my trainers at the end of the hike and my hiking boots fitted easily into the bag. The straps were comfortable & with 2 round the front take the weight off the shoulders.If you want a versatile rucksack for hiking that’s not too big this is perfect.

Great rucksack lots of handy zip pockets and great delivery

Been using this for 2 months for work commute and there's a break in the inner lining of the bag. This just shows that the material is not really durable (I did not overfill the bag). Not waterproof (as advertised) in heavy rain but does the job for light drizzle.Will be buying a different bag in a few months.

Used this for just over a month and have hole in base of backpack. Have contacted manufacturer but no response.

If u need a carry bag for mags etc, this one has all the right spaces , is comfortable and practical without being too big or small .

Utiliser pour plusieurs randos à la journée et vraiment parfait.Petit mais avec beaucoup de poches bien pensées. J'ai acheté une poche à eau en plus et ça fonctionne parfaitement. Confortable au niveau du dos et des épaules.Il faut juste prendre un peu de temps pour le régler à sa taille, positionner la poche brettelle correctement et c'est parti!
