Best $12 ever spent!!
I had to do an immediate review on this because I am just so pleased and impressed with this product. We have no water hook up on our front porch, and the only water hook up outside is near our garage and it’s cold water only. When the time came for my kids inflatable pool to be put up, I wanted them to have warmer water in it for these wishy washy Ohio spring days. Our kitchen faucet is crusty from our hard water so I knew trying to get the end piece off would be a task bigger than I wanted to deal with. I found the water bandit, it came and within 5 minutes of it being delivered I hooked it right up to a hose and stuck it on my kitchen faucet. I slowly increased the pressure to make sure it could withstand it, and voila! My kids have nice pool water to splash around in. Highly recommend this product!

Works well on our RV trips
I needed something to use when we come to a dump station that does not have a standard garden hose connection. This fits as advertised and works well. This comes in very handy for us. thank you

JUNK! JUNK! JUNK! JUNK! JUNK! JUNK!
I was hopeful that this would work, but alas, NOPE! Forget the fact that the only way it'll stay attached to the faucet is if you barely and I mean B-A-R-E-L-Y have the water on. If/When you're able to find a medium spot (meaning like 5% on), the rubber itself spouts holes which water sprays out of.I hooked it up to the faucet and turned it on, np. Stayed on with no problem. So I hooked the hose up to it and turned the water to about 10% on and it went flying off of the faucet and water went EVERY WHERE! I hooked it back up and barely turned it on and it stayed on. Turned it up a bit more, held steady. Put it back to around 10% on and KABLOOEY! Eventually I found a point where I could use it with out it blew off the faucet, but then it started spraying out of holes in the rubber itself. So the only way I can use it, is pretty much BARELY have the water on and wait about an hour for it to do what I need/want it to do. OR, I could suck it up and and roll my cooler out of my office and a bit out into the hallway, so that my non piece of junk adapter that fits on the kitchen sink, can be used to fill this up in a matter of minutes and with no problem.Geeeee! I wonder which I'm going to opt for. Piece of junk is getting returned and I don't recommend it. And if someone wants to comment that "can't be used under pressure unless you do this/that", you can shove it! The fact that pretty much putting any kind of water through it that goes above basically spitting into it, causes it to fly off and/or spring leaks out of the rubber housing, makes it a worthless piece of junk!

Will rip open if you apply pressure!
This product is fine if you use it EXACTLY as the instructions indicate. But it's a pain in the rear to do so. Do NOT add a hose clamp to this to hold it on the faucet and apply water pressure by having your hose end not open! IT WILL RIP OPEN and spray water all over the room!!! Don't ask me how I know....If you're OK with walking back and forth to the faucet to turn it on and off every 5 seconds then great but if you need to stop water flow at the hose end this will shoot off the faucet, dropping it to the floor and causing a mess. THAT'S what caused me to put a hose clamp on it at the faucet. Then I turned on the water, walked to the end of the hose where the water was coming out, shut off the water with the hose nozzle an BLAMMO, ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE! The boot split and was shooting water in countless directions and making a huge mess! No matter what Ibdid with this, it caused me to clean up water every flipping time! Wish I never bought this!I basically hate this thing. It's useless for what I needed and I bought something else that screws onto any faucet and let's me turn on the water and then operate the hose end nozzle on and off as needed like using a regular hose. This thing has a very narrow use case scenario list....of which, nothing normal people do with a hose is on it.

New style works better than old
This is my second order. I'm much happier with my second order and it works. I was very happy with this new "model." It had a different grey instead of gold screw on base. I hooked it up to the faucet and didn't need a clamp and nothing burst. This hose adapter is very easy to use. You just screw it on the end of the hose and slip the "sleeve" over your faucet spout. Do NOT turn the water on high. You'll want a slower flow. This isn't great for car washes, but I use it to fill up the RV tank from my kitchen or bathroom faucet and it works for that. This is a useful product and it's handy to have around if you have a camper. (I had one before and like other people experienced, it exploded and cracked. I was able to use a small ring clamp to wear it out to the end and still use it until I lost it. It did help me use a hose on my wonky faucet with an abnormal spout. I haven't had any problems with the most recent one I ordered.)

Functional
Put this on my laundry sink while my hose was out. I started it on low because I saw a lot of reviews saying the thing popped off the faucet, but halfway through filling up my hot tub I increased the water pressure and it was fine.
