Spirit Animals Book 4: Fire and Ice Kindle Edition

My 11 year old loves the Spirit Animal books. We bought this to add to his collection. These books are the only ones that my son has been able to sit and read without getting bored of them. He will talk about them for hours with anyone who will listen, which is so good because I know that he is reading them and paying attention to what he is reading. I definitely recommend these books.

This book series is so good! I could not put it down . I am not a very fast reader . No books have been able to keep my interest ontell I discovered this series. So sad how Rollan finily found his mother and she's with the bad guys and being controlled by the snake then lost the tailsman to a walrus .then there's a mole with them. Love how Shannon Hale keeps you interested.That's why l am giving it five stars!

Bought for grandkids and ones to come. Time to move to the next household. Good book

Bought for my 12 year old. He loves this book series

I love the cast of characters and the powerful creatures (spirit animals) that help these people. I think that these books will engender a respect and a love of animals with your kids. I would recommend these books to parents with kids between the ages of 8-12.

This book focuses on the story of Rollan and his relationship with his flighty Spirit Animal, the falcon, Essix. He still hesitates to fully join the Greencloaks, due to his distrust of the establishment after growing up a street urchin, but he still fights with them against the evil Devourer. The four are growing closer to each other and learning that each of them carries loss and insecurities from their past. They struggle to overcome these painful memories as they search for the token of the Great Beast, Suka, the polar bear.Probably the most intense of the books, the battle between the Greencloaks and the Devourer is beginning to wear the kids and their Spirit Animals down and the question becomes ever more forefront in their minds: can they win?Now, I have to say, even though I really enjoy the series, I will not be continuing any further. The price of the Spirit Animals e-books has increased from $2.99 , to $6.99 and now to $9.99 for the upcoming book. I can't fault the authors in any way, but I personally feel like the time has come to take a stand against the unthrottled greed and manipulation of the publishers. These are Scolastic books- roughly 160 pages of large print. I find it reprehensible that publishers continue to raise the price on books that could encourage a child to read. So, the decision to to accept or refuse these price manipulations (translation: blackmail) lie with the parents, ultimately. I have drawn my line in the sand and I will no longer patronize publishers who feel the need to rape and pillage in an effort to punish the electronic reader.

once I read the first page, I couldn't stop reading. It helps if you've read the first 3 books to understand it (see spirit animals book 1:wild born,book 2:hunted and book 3:blood ties). I would recommend this book to older readers (8+) who have a strong love of the fantasy genre and of animals and who aren't deterred by the thought of wounds and death

I cant find the fifth book on kindle,the only one there is in german, any help? otherwise the series is excellent and I hope you will read.

Don't ever be silly enough to get a bad book, so all my ratings are 5 star. Good book, waiting for the next one is driving me nuts. Yay.
