Lightweight boots
Very lightweight boots. The eyelets in the upper portion of the boot are taking some getting used to. Look good. Feel good.

Light weight and comfortable - but one problem ...
I had a pair of these last year that lasted about a year. Liked them as they are very light and easy to get on and off. The only problem is they are extremely slippery on wet surfaces including old , smooth concrete ... to the point of it’s like walking on ice .So this time around I ordered the TR550 and they are sitting here , 6 weeks old , unused because I couldn’t get them broken in ; remaining stiff as a board and hurt in a different spot every time I tried wearing them again.I needed something so ordered the Mini mil style again and will just have to put up with the terrible traction. Other than the traction they are comfortable, extremely light weight and with the price dropped about fifty bucks from last year ( maybe being discontinued ? ) , very affordable .

Went Overseas with These
After reading these reviews I figured I should give these boots some well deserved justice. I bought these 2.5 years ago and I hope they are built to the same quality now, as they were back then. I bought these just before I went on a 9 month tour to Kuwait. We only had a couple bad rain storms and I do remember them getting soaked with water. They dry quick though. They stood up to the heat very well. A great dry and hot weather boot. I averaged about 5+ miles a day walking (chow hall, motor pool... etc.) The average terrain I walked and worked in was some sort of dirt or gravel. That doesn't include the PT runs, for Air Assault prep, done in boots that could average 6 miles with a 30lb medium ruck. I suffered from plantar fasciitis before the tour so the one alteration I did to these boots was a pair of Dr. Scholl's Athletic Inserts. I didn't wear these boots for more than a year and they did start to show signs of wear. I probably could only have gotten another 6 months at most out of them.If you are living the POG life like me, these are the boots for you. If you are combat arms, refer to a boot SME in your MOS.

Great boots. Yes, break in time can be awful.
Great boot. A steal at $49 bucks. Comfortable right out of the box. The break-in time with the heel cup can be brutal. I have the t103 model so knew what to expect. The manufacturer mentions that they require a slow break-in, otherwise they will chew your foot up for a few days. Takes about two weeks altogether but it’s worth it. They will soften and mold to your foot. Massage the heal cup, wear around the house and it will loosen after a week or so. This is not a wear out of the box and go ruck boot. Those not familiar with minimalist shoes will be confounded by the toe box width and the “lack of support.” They run small so I recommend going up a half to full size up. I’m a 14 and 15 fit me perfectly. These are a 6mm drop, the t103s (my favorite) have a 2mm drop. Great hiker. Not a heavy duty Rucker, but I a put a bazillion miles on these in the mountains. Love ‘em.

These Run Small (order a full size bigger than your usual issue Belleville boots.)
I think these would be great boots. They looked great, the looked like they were well made and they were light weight(!) but that's where my experience with them ended. Why? Because I couldn't fit my foot into it.I've worn (and thoroughly enjoyed) Belleville boots since I was issued my first pair, getting ready to deploy to Iraq in 2004. That first pair lasted 4 years of every other day wear, split between a second identical pair I picked up after I returned from Iraq in 2006. Those boots lasted me until I literally wore a hole in the top of them (Aviation Maintenance it tough of everything). I've worn a pair of Belleville flight boots that I was issued in 2010 until just two months ago (May, 2017) because I finally wore the sole out, cracking it in half across the width at the point where your foot dorsiflexes. As you can imagine I was really excited to get these boots. But upon receiving my size 10 1/2W boots, found that they were too short for my foot to fit in length wise. Even after trimming my toenails super short and shoving my heel as far back in the boot then lacing it tightly my big and 3-5 toes touched the end of the boot. Being that I ordered them while deployed, I opted to sell them for half of what I paid for them to a fellow Soldier out here with size 9 1/2W feet. He says they fit great.

I bought the recommend sizing as best I could
The shipper delivered as promised so no issue there. The issue comes from the boot itself. I bought the recommend sizing as best I could. The company doesn't make a half sized boot beyond 12 so I just got a twelve. My toes didn't touch the end so it seemed OK and in fact for the first 3 months of use they were great. I'm also not new to zero heal shoes and do run in vibram five fingers regularly. To me, these were comfortable beyond compare. 4th month of wear came and that started to change. A slow pain began at the base of my toes. By the time the month was out I ended up limping a little. I finally realized it had to be the boots and went back to an older pair. Within a few days the pain was gone. Put these back on and within hours it was starting again. I don't know what changed but their wear in didn't work out for me. Did email the company. They told me it was a sizing issue and when I advised them I followed their sizing guide they stopped responding. I give them 2 stars instead of one as the boot construction itself is good, but theres clearly something wrong with mine and as a company they don't seem interested in at least acknowledging my problem with them.

Feels like a modern day moccasin.
I wear them at work (HVAC - roofs, basements stairs, ladders,) really like how they feel. They have a little more cushion then the mini-mil (2mm) . I do wear them down to 16°F with heavy wool socks. Not good for heavy wet snow. Not great on ice either. Wish they made a sidezip, water proof, 400 gram thinsulate version, then I wouldn't buy anything else. The uppers are nylon canvas makes some odd noise as it is broken in.
