I will not use another towel. This towel gets it all in a timely manner. It does not completely dry your animal, but gets them dry enough to when they shake your bathroom and yourself are not soaked.

My Labrador has a very heavy, velvety coat that soaks up and retains water, making him very hard to dry off after a swim. These mitts work well considering he is such a hard case. I used to use three towels to get him as dry as these mitts do. They are a bit hard to get on. The first one goes on easily but then you no longer have fingers to pull the second one on. It is doable, but probably would be easier if there is someone else around to help you get them on. The cuff is loose enough however to make it possible to rotate the mitt after one side gets wet so it is possible to use both sides of the mitt. The dog seems to enjoy the rubdown and the whole process is easier than using a towel (once you get the mitts on both hands).

Use this after fetch sessions in the snow. Nice quick rub down prior to coming back in the house.

Used to dry off puppies after being out in the dew, the dogs seem to like the mitts better than a towel plus mitts protect fingers from nips from the puppies.

You get two lefties, or righties, depending on how you look at it... I'm right handed, and if I want to use the smooth grey side, with my dominant hand, I have to take my thumb out. Basically, these would be more useful without the thumb spot altogether. Or this issue could be avoided by providing one for your right AND left hands. I do see in the photos of their product, it does in fact only show the left (or right) handed ones. So it was my fault for not catching sooner that these would not be a pair of reversible mitts, as I assumed they were.

They make it easier to dry my dog as quick as possible before she thinks they are toys are tries to eat them off my hands. Make sure you throw them in the wash after each use and dry in dryer. They get that damp musty smell if you let it sit out wet.

We clean our dogs paws at least twice a day after his walks. This mitt is great to get his paws clean as he enters the house. Good material, soft and very absorbent.

They absorb but I cannot use the purple side on both hands at the same time, is this intentional? I was expecting a glove for the right hand and one for the left hand. And I could just swap hands to use the other side. Not what I expected

These work great after the bath or a walk in the rain and are easy to use. No more stepping all over the towel while trying to dry feet. Very pleased. Easy to find too with their purple color!
