DOA, no SDcard slot unless you void warranty.
Item was DOA. When plugged in it would click then the IRs would light for a few seconds then go out, it would then repeat this process. Looked for SDcard slot and found none, manual makes no mention of SDcard slot even though side of box states that it has one. Their (esky) website is a joke and makes no mention of this camera anywhere, much less supply a manual or software for it. Even the DVD included with the camera had a manual for another model number that isn't even close to this one making it useless. Reading reviews on amazon, it seems that the SDcard slot is somewhere inside the camera but getting to it would break a seal thus voiding the warranty, and making this useless for my purpose as a standalone camera without internet and using SDcard only. If you want to take the plunge do like I did and TEST THE CAMERA BEFORE TRYING TO FIND THE SDCARD SLOT BECAUSE IF IT DOESN'T WORK YOU WILL HAVE VOIDED YOUR WARRANTY AND WILL BE SCREWED OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED CASH!

This will be the 4th one-star review in a row left for this item
This review is mostly about the seller, BetterStuff LowerPrice, but at this time they are the only seller of this camera on Amazon. The software CD was broken when the camera arrived, which can happen from time to time, but it looked like it was hit with a hammer a couple of times, so it was probably broken before it was packed as it didn't look like that would have happened during travel. The manual indicates that the operating software can be obtained online, but the page it directs you to only lists software for other cameras that is a couple of years old, which is older than this camera design. The seller's website has broken graphics and looks as if nobody has tended to it for a long time. That doesn't engender a lot of confidence.I emailed the seller a couple of times, beginning as soon as the camera arrived and they haven't responded. The lights on the camera worked and it made clicking noises once in a while, so at least it wasn't dead. But my computer didn't see it. Since I can't get the right software to set it up, it is being returned. The seller needs to get serious about this business or quit wasting everyone's time.

WARNING! DO NOT BUY! No company exist to support for this product.
WARNING! No customer support! Do not buy this camera. There is no company that supports this camera. If you don't believe, just go to google right now and try to find the Esky website that provides support for the Esky® H6800 Outdoor Waterproof Wireless HD IP Camera. You will not find it because one does not exist. You will find this same product for sell on many websites, but you will not find a link to any kind of manufacturer's website. When you buy this, you get a customer support phone number that leads you to an old fashion answering machine and you will hear a recording that goes something like this; "Leave your name and number and we will get back to you as soon as possible." I have left three messages on the machine in the past year and have never got a call back.If you buy this product, you are on your own. There will never be a firmware update or anything else for this camera. And when it breaks, there will be no place to turn to. I am ashamed of Amazon for even selling this product. You have been warned.

Waste of a couple of hours trying to set up.
I'm an IT professional, and I've installed several ip cameras. This thing powered up, had Ethernet connectivity, and ir worked, but I couldn't find it on the network. The cd was unusable (scratched very badly as if it had been scrubbed with sandpaper), so I had no software. The website didn't have a download for this camera, so I tried one of the others, and it wouldn't "find" the camera on my network. The documentation said that the IP address was on the bottom, but it wasn't. I ran an ip scanner, and apparently the default isn't in the 192.168.1.x range. After 2 hours, i'm returning, since there was only a "leave a message" at their helpline during normal business hours. I guess I'll be buying fanother more reputable brand. Steer clear of these...

Baffling and ominous
Following instructions, the camera could not be recognized by my computers and configured. I am somewhat configuration proficient. It seems that to get this thing going requires patience, luck, and trial and error, at least according to the message boards that I saw. I would say that set up is beyond the average home-owner.It did not help that the instructions provided with the unit and online did not match the unit's model number.I did not have the time for this science project.More troubling: the rear of the unit indicated that the Remote access was on http://aauwn.ipcam.so. The user name by default is "admin" and there is no password by default. ".SO" is a root domain (like .COM) that indicates that it is registered in the country of Somalia. Does this mean that people in Somalia have the ability to see through these cameras? I did not want to find out.I returned it.

It works
The hardware is decent. Waterproof and handles light conditions well. The image quality is okay. The documentation is poor and the IP information is incorrect... My unit booted to http://192.168.1.126:81!All features work minimally, I've tested the E-Mail, FTP and motion detection features. The WiFi setup was terrible and the user password has a max size of 7 characters! It's a Linux based camera! Where's the source code so a few hackers can make this thing feature complete.Decent hardware. Poor firmware.Do not buy unless you are technical.

simply doesn't work
the camera does power on, but that is about it. None of the directions I received in the box are accurate nor could I connect to the camera either by the included application or a web browser. The esky website is a joke and doesn't even have the software for this camera on it. I called customer service and was just prompted to leave a message. I'm returning this awful product to amazon.
