Timothy Botts work is exquisite. Beautiful backgrounds and the lettering goes with the verse and background. Love this book. He also has written a short commentary on the page of verse. This is my first book but will not be my last. I love the calligraphy but the scriptures speak to me as well.

Timothy Botts is a great calligrapher & artist who has devoted himself to illustrating Biblical passages. His work plumbs the depths of the scripture passages with which he is working--and also happen to be gorgeous pieces of art.Botts is the art director for a major Christian publisher, which explains how he has managed to get a publisher to spend the big bucks for top-quality paper and printing for his books. We are the beneficiaries of this wonderful collaboration between a gifted artist and a publisher-with-a-vision.

Another wonderful artistic offering from Tim Botts. I was privileged to take two classes from him while I lived in the Chicago area. We were able to watch him create small pieces of art at the end of every class. What an inspiration! The only downside to this book is that some of the depictions are so complex in color and style that it is difficult to read the passage. But his ability to express the feeling and emotion of the text is unsurpassed.

I love Tim Botts and his artistry. God bless Tim Botts! I love his running dialogue along with this pictures.

I like the proverbs one more, but still good :)

Beautiful calligraphic renderings of wise sayings from one of the Wisdom books of the Bible. Timothy Botts is a devout Christian who uses his artistic gifts to encourage and enlighten persons of faith.

Gorgeous calligraphy

Love this book, however, the book's cover had a big crease down the center .... my only disappointment. Timothy R Botts is an amazing artist and I have framed many of his scriptures so artistically done in calligraphy and watercolor. He also publishes a calendar each year that is exquisite and complete with encouraging scripture and beautiful art.

Timothy Botts has a gift of expressing his faith in a calligraphic form.His little stories that grace each one are wonderful. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves the Lord and His living Word and enjoys art.

カリグラフィー歴２年です。いろんな作品がカラーで載っていて丁度欲しかった本です。作品づくりの参考にもなりますし、見るだけでも楽しいし、好きなページを開いて部屋に飾るのも素敵かもしれません。お値段も手ごろで注文してすぐ来たのでびっくりしました！
