Such a good book to have as a math teacher. So many fun and engaging activities in here you could use as a whole class, stations, or small group! I highly recommend for rookie and veteran teachers.

I have fallen in love with this book! Not only are the descriptions clear and straight forward, but these authors do not doddle around in trying to get the main point across and how to apply it. This is very worth having if you teach math!

Great tool resource for games but arrived damaged

This book makes so much sense. How can you build a house without a solid foundation? I'll get so much use out of these games this school year. I love the focus on strategies versus timed tests and memorization.

I’m a homeschooling mom and this book provided so much direction and many new ideas on how to teach my young children math. It walks you through the research on math acquisition and then teaches how to implement best practices through games and engaging activities. Great book!!

I bought this book after watching one of Bay-Williams webinars. Well worth it. I'm an Elementary Math Instructional Coach and have been using several of her quick games in my teaching. Students look them and they really reinforce needed skills.

This book is not about fluency. There is no such thing as fluency without a timed component. The authors do not understand the concept at a basic level, are severely distorting the word, and are misrepresenting the research on time math tests. If they do not like timed tests, make the argument that processing speed and working memory are irrelevant to math mastery (they are relevant, but this would be more honest). But whatever the theory is, don’t call it fluency. This book will confuse many teachers and ultimately harm students. I will keep this book in my university office book shelf as yet another example of why math education is so, so troubled.

Good way to learn!

The paper is really poor quality, like cheap colouring book paper. I was really disappointed considering the price $45.00
