Like duct tape and a hammer - another MUST HAVE tool
I have had a similar tool since my aviation/naval composite manufacturing and thermoset resin potting encapsulation days in the '80's. I used it for everything; scoring, counting minute parts, scribing, effecting tiny maneuvers while soldering circuit boards, it just plain worked. As the tips on mine were a little worn, when I discovered this one I knew I had to give it a whirl. Glad I did, this one was spot on! The tip points are hard, very fine, and sharp. The length of the tool is ideal for performing tasks that require just a little "more accurate motivation" and enhance one's distal finger control. This tool is an absolute must for my garage, my household, and in my tool and hobby boxes. It' beloved, so much so I had to buy two more!

Almost exactly the same thing used in US Navy Aviation
I fell in love with these scribes while working on helicopters. Sharp enough to (accidentally) poke holes in your fingers, but strong enough to take a fair bit of abuse before bending or breaking the tip. While these aren't the exact same thing as what I used while in, they are functionally the same and feel like high quality tools compared to some of the cheaper options available.

Very well made
I bought this tool for use on motorcycle. It’s extremely well made and good for O rings, plastic panels, etc. Made in USA. Extremely satisfied with Ullman No. 1810

seems fine but...
Seems good and works fine, but there were thick metal shavings on the middle grip part. Just made the quality control look bad.

Best of the best
I have been using "seal picks" for about 40 years. There are many different versions out there and this is the best one I have seen. It is heavy duty and feels like a quality tool in your hand. The ends are screwed into the center aluminum handle. Several reviews have mentioned the ends unscrewing. When you get it, the first thing you should do is unscrew the ends and some put some thread sealing compound on the threads. If you don't have anything made for that purpose, some finger nail polish or hard setting adhesive should work just fine.

Perfect Sized Scribe
I was a little worried given the displayed pictures that this would be on the smaller size….turns out it’s the perfect size. Next came unpacking it. I noticed one end was loose and immediately became angry thinking it was defective and poorly manufactured. Soon after I realized the ends are threaded into the body and can be removed if necessary….maybe tight quarters dictate or personal preference. I have yet to use it but I have no doubt it will work fine for scribing out my firewall.
