Well Worth the money
I bought this child travel harness on the recommendation of a friend. I would also recommend it without hesitation. We used car seats at the beginning but as soon as my kids were old enough we started using the travel harness. There is no doubt that a hard backed car seat is the safest way for your child to travel but carrying 2 car seats through the airport while travelling alone with 2 toddlers is next to impossible. The harness offers the only suitable solution. It offers the child the same level of safety that the car seat does. We do a significant amount of travelling - both short flights of 1-3 hours and long haul of 9-15 hours with two small children. I have used it for my 4 year old and for my 1 (almost 2) year old. I did not find that either child "slipped down". It is simple to install and I did not have any problems requesting the person behind us to lower their tray table to set it up. Both children felt secure and comfortable and were able to reach their tray table for meals and play. This harness weights less than 1 pound and comes with a pouch bag. It is quite light and portable. It is easier through the airport and then there is more room on the seats and also it prevents my children from kicking the seat in front which they were able to reach from the height of their car seats. The best part of this product for me was that it contained my kids from running around on the airplane. Overall this is a great product and I recommend it to all my friends. We never fly without it.

Looks very cheap and may buy fakes.
Waste of money. Tried using it now for 2 kids, and both had same problem--the child slid right out and the clip will choke them if you tug a little bit. At the same time, it looks very cheap and may buy fakes.

Not actually FAA
It seems like it would work just fine but this particular one is not faa approved per our flight attendant and we were forced to take it off our daughter so if you have flight attendants who won’t notice then it’s fine but otherwise it’s a waste of money

Needed More Information Before Purchasing
This Harness seemed a very good idea for our 2-year old granddaughter ... however, what was not given was the size that the child should be. The harness can only go down on the chair (in the rear) just above the serving place area. This created an issue when the lady behind us wanted to eat. And, the harness did not allow too much movement for a 2-year old. Now, I see it's merit; for a child that is over 36" tall, this would be perfect because not much adjustment is required. We like it but we'll hold on to it until she's a little older.

Great Quality
Excellent child safety harness for airplane travel. It is a must have for all parents travelling with toddlers to six year old. A must for child safety. I love this airplane travel harness. It is much safer than a lap belt or attachment to adults seat belt. It has good quality and works very well. It is same with the $99 harness I bought before. It help me save a lot and get something even better.

Child Aviation Restraint System
It was such a great purchase. The safety system worked great on our first airplane travel. It kept my child secure. It made her feel safe too. This is a must have when travelling with little ones. It is much easier than a car seat. It takes me less than 30 seconds to install. Just pay attention to the front of the straps when you're putting it on so you can tighten or loosen them once your kid is in the seat. My child feels comfortable to use it. We have used it on British Airways and all the crews had been given briefings on it and were pleased to see it in use. Other airlines such as Easy Jet, Ryan Air, BMI and Monarch need to allow parents to use it too.

Practical, Excellent for flying with a toddler
Well made, very practical. I purchased the flying safety harness for my baby on our flight to Australia as we got a sit on the plane for her. The restraint was easy to use and carry. Kept our 2 years old in her seat for taking off and landing with no issues. She even went to sleep strapped in. We were worried she would slip down but there was no problem when we use it. She loves being able to sit by herself. We are very happy with it! Good to have on a long flight!

Sturdy and comfortable
I've recently ordered this product for my three-year-old Houdini. We have not taken the trip yet but on quick inspection it looks to be sturdy and comfortable. My three-year-old can extricate herself from almost anything so I'll be interested to find out if it's effective in maintaining her in her seat in an airplane for six and a half hours it appears to be very easy to apply. My daughter did not seem uncomfortable in it when applied to the back of a dining room chair. Time will tell
