Love, Love, Love it. I might "play" with this as much as my 10 and 13-year-old sons. It's so interesting to see things magnified with this microscope. We had gone to a museum where my son had participated in a workshop. They were able use microscope and look at their own cells from inside their cheek. He loved it and became very interested in studying things with a microscope. I shopped around Amazon looking for one that had the same magnification power as the one he used at the museum workshop. I ordered this one, hoping that it would be a good one and so far, it seems to be very good, not just a toy, but a real science tool. It feels quite heavy and solid. The magnification is wonderful, and we love connecting it to the computer to look at slides on screen. I highly recommend this microscope.

I bought this for my boys who are now 6 & 7.They have used it several times (with my supervision) and really enjoy it.The microscope is easy to set up and we were able to make slides of different things around the yard.A blade of grass, a leaf, some dirt, some pond water; and they were thrilled to see them under the microscope.Then we hooked it up to the laptop and took some photos and got to see it images that way, too.All in all, a great experience for the kids.

This was a waste of money. Sold it to someone else because I waited too long to try it out and couldn't send it back. No instructions at all, I found some online but they're garbage. It was missing parts for the lenses too. Overall not happy with it. 1/5 would not recommend, would not buy again.

After about six months the rubber material on the handle began to deteriorate leaving a purple residue on anything that touched it. The company advertises a five year warranty but will not honor it for products sold by Amazon even though the item description refers you to the manufacturers website and warranty information. I'd recommend another manufacturer.
