The 12" and 10" pot set is reasonable quality. I am in the sand casting industry so, this review maybemore critical than the average reviewer. The product's country of origin is China. The quality ofcasting is of much lower quality than American made. The surface of Lodge is very smooth as comparedto this brand. The technology involved in sand cast molding is bit complicated, but the type of sandthat Chinese use along with the additives for casting, is definitely of lower quality than Lodge. The surfacefinish is much lower than Lodge.Even the silicon handle are of much less thicker than one you could purchase from the Lodge store.The silicone mat are much thinner than the ones that I currently use (the included mats are about 1/16th").The pans were supposed to be pre-seasoned, but, it appeared to me it was not. I seasoned the pans withvegetable oils and "baked" it in in the over over about 1.5 hours. The first test was that used it to cook a2" thick steak. The steak turned out OK as compared to Lodge. The steak was cooked browned on both sidesand placed in the oven to cook to medium rare. The pan performed just about equal to the Lodge pans.The cleaning was done with small mild soap and sponge, but to get the baked in bits, I had to use stainlessspatula. The rough surface finish of this pan made cleaning more difficult than Lodge which have verysmooth surface, and which came with very smooth pre-seasoned surface.I have whole set of Lodge which I picked up during past vacation road trip which allowed me to stop by theirfactory store located at Pittsburg, Tennessee. I bought whole set of pans and pots, then and am stillenjoying using them. At the regular price of this item, I would rather spend little more and get the "real" thing.With discount and at about 40%-50% cost saving this item maybe reasonable buy.I purchased this due to price and to use in rough outside activities, and keep my Lodge at home. That is howI intend to use them. If you want higher quality pots and pans, purchase Lodge, however, if your primaryconcern is lowest cost, you maybe happy with these knowing the limitation.

I was already to re-season these pans and very excited to get them. I have used cast iron pans for quite some time. I was so dismayed to open the box and see the handle broken off of one of the pans. I have dropped cast iron pans and this has never happened. Perhaps the textured grip to the pan weakens it? I am going to try and get them replaced and we shall see how that goes. In the meantime I will buy some used ones off Facebook Marketplace and recondition them. They look more sturdy anyway.

I really like to use this frying pan to fry steak. The fried steak is delicious, crispy and tender, and it is as delicious as the restaurant's steak. My family praised my good cooking. I won't tell them that this credit belongs to my skillet, haha.

Evenly heated, especially when frying steak.,it is delicious.It will not suddenly heat up or cool down during cooking, so it locks the nutrition and original taste of the food.Also, I really like the anti-scalding pad that the seller sent, it is nice to be able to put the frying pan directly on the table.

The dish made with this skillet is very delicious, and the seller has given heat-resistant holders and silicone mats, so I can use it safely and can put the skillet directly on my desktop instead of the dish.

I followed the instructions to season the cast iron set. They are pre-seasoned one, so it did not take me a lot of energy to season them. It gets heats much quicker than what I had before. The set is ideal for size and must be very durable. The iron skillet could be used for regularly meal, they also can be used for the broiling a dish in the oven. It satisfies all my needs. The only thing is that the iron skillet is too heavy, but it is the real cast iron skillet, I have nothing to complain.

I can't say enough good things about these skillets! I've been wanting to get my own cast-iron for quite a while and finally decided to spring for these. The instructions made seasoning the skillets a breeze. I like the silicone handles to help prevent burns when handling them. They are easy to clean, and the food tastes great! The picture shows what a difference seasoning the pans made. The left was pre-seasoned and right was after I had seasoned it.

I absolutely loved these cast Iron Skillets. They come with a silicone holder for the handle and a hot pad to set the hot cast iron on after cooking. I was able to use it on the stove and then transfer my dish 2 the oven and finish my entree. I made pork chops and as you can see in the video , nothing stuck to the bottom of the skillet. I would definitely buy the set as a Christmas gift , birthday gift or treat yourself. You cannot beat the price for the quality of Skillet and accessories that you get. I would hurry while supplies last I could see this item selling out.
