The Rory Gallagher Collection

I have always been a big fan of Rory but always preferred his live shows to his studio output .At the recent Rory Gallgher tribute festival in Ballyshannon i was taken aback when attending lunch time acoustic sesssions that there was a lot of songs that i did not know ,but still sounded great on first time hearing .This double cd at a terrific price was a good filler of the gaps of some of the songs i had missed .

Never appreciated as much as the more popular guitarists of the time like Clapton,Green Hendrix but this man could play the Blues with passion.i have most of his releases even the live offerings when the true magic,emotion and raw talent could be seen in all its glory.Another to leave this earth too young and did not seehis influence on many of todays guitarists At the price excellent value for money and a great introduction to the MAN

I was never a fan of Rory Gallagher in the 70's, but thanks to my friend Dave Pendry He convinced me to re listen to Rory and I am so glad I did and this CD is a great introduction to the multi talented Rory output, now I am off to buy some more of his back catalogue!!!!!! Thanks Dave

I had forgotten about Rory Gallagher and as I was just surfing one day I came across somebodies perfect playlist I looked at that and others that were linked to it also and everybody seemed to recommend this album so I thought I would give it a go and I am really glad I did.I can recommend this album as one of his best

New to RG. Love his guitar playing across the album: just such a natural talent. A number of the later tracks are a bit 'by numbers'. Prefer his voice when he was younger; later years and his vocal is gruffer and less attractive in my view. Good introduction to Gallagher, though.

Read about him in the Sunday Times, then listened on line. Good old quality guitar and drum work. Been looking for this style for ages now have finally caught up with him,. How did I not know he was around? The CD was well packaged and presented

Although i were not familiar with this artist, i am so very glad i did, as i really enjoyed all the fantastic tracks that are featured on this Cd, Excellent quality album, and all the related services experienced with this superb purchase. So very many THANKS!

Great collection of awesome Rory Gallagher. Not a bad song on here. Rory doesn't have any.

This is a fantastic collection of R.G.'s music. I did not pay attention to him back in the late 60's and 70's. A regret of mine now. I would have loved to have seen him live. I was too involved with Neil Young music, Beatles, Hendrix, Alvin Lee, Jeff Beck, Cream, The Who, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin etc. If you like Guitar God's then you'll love this. He may very well have been the best of the best. He had a good voice also.

Hallo . Rory Gallagher hatte ich gelegentlich schon gehört , hatte aber leider keine LP von ihm . Jetzt nach dem ich mir diese CD geholt habe denke ich mir von dieser Band hätte ich mir schon früher mal was besorgen können ! Es ist richtig gut gemachter Rock der alten Schule mit vielen geniale Gitarrensoli . Von mir gibt's dafür 5 Sterne und eine Kaufempfehlung für alle Rockfans
