Works great in older cars.
My daughter has an older vehicle, probably around 20 years old that still has a cassette tape. She used this cassette tape adapter to plug her cell phone into the car stereo. The sound quality was excellent and it worked really well. It has an excellent value and came with a 3 foot wire, which was perfect length.

It took a while for the car to accept this
When I first installed this, my cassette player would reverse and eject pretty quickly, did that a few times, but now it plays much better. I had to turn the volume way down on my mp3 player when using this to keep the volume similar to the radio and avoid distortion. When using this, set the volume to minimum on your output device and then increase it to match fmYour cassette player might eject it after a few seconds, but just put it back till it wears in.

Piece ok JUNK !!!!!!!!!!
I’ve been using car audio cassettes for 40 years. I found one I bought probably 20 years ago unopened. I have a 1997 vehicle that I boughtNew. It still runs perfectly fine. It has a cassette player in it and I’ve been using cassette adapters for many years. I decided to open the 20 year old one and use it because the one that I was using is about 7 years old. Still works but I thought I’d give it a break. So before putting in the 20 year old one, I ran the head cleaning tape in to freshen up the stock deck. I do that periodically. So I put the 20 year old one in and it works flawlessly. Excellent sound quality, no clicking sounds etc.Because the 20 year old on was the last NEW one I had, I decided to buy another one to have on hand. So after quite a bit of research, I decided on the Arsvita car audio cassette. Not the Bluetooth version just one with an aux cord.It arrived 3/12. So I decided to see if by chance over the years technology may have improved, I brought it out to the car and put it in. All it did was self eject. Over and over again. So I went in and “YouTubed” it and found several solutions that seemed logical. Over 40 years I never had to do anything like this but I guess technology has changed, for the worst in this case. I tried everything I could find on YouTube, I took it apart took out the “reverse” wheel, that didn’t work. I took it back apart to more options I learned on YouTube. NOTHING but NOTHING would work. I finally just to it and threw it in the garbage. Save yourself all the headaches, never buy Arsvita products.

Its working very well after 6 months
Worked great for 6 months now it's hot or miss if it works one day versus the next. It sounded great. There was no need to charge it because it doesn't take a battery, and it is very compact and portable. The build quality and durability seems great on the outside but something on the inside isn't working anymore. It isn't compatible with the newer phones that dont have headphone jacks unless you buy another adapter.

Works great!
I bought this to use in my Jeep with the stock stereo. The system sounds pretty good but it's older and doesn't have any aux input. This solves the problem and it sounds pretty good too. A few dollars for this compared to the cost of a new stereo? No brainer.
