used for fan stand instead of flagpole
used it to mount a fan on a stand. all things considered, using a wall mount for the fan saved valuable floor space. The mount allows it to be angled so that it can oscillate without hitting the wall, and adding a remote on/off switch so I don't have to get out of bed to turn it on/off, makes for a great fan setup.

I've had this for years andi it's still going strong
I bought on of the flagpole holders years ago, in NH. It is still going strong. We are now in SC and I bought another and hope it will last for years as the other did. Very sturdy in the wind. Has a thumbscrew adjustment for angle. 4 screws mount it to the wall. And it's metal not plastic.

Our flag came off tree after wind storm. Ordered this one. Seems very sturdy. Will need more time to know how sturdy it is but it seems now pretty strong.

Very nice
These are very good! I was trying to use them for something other than flags, which they won't end up working for, but if you're getting these for their intended purpose then they'd be great. Exceptional quality and easy installation.

The plastic ones break in time and strong wind, use these and be done!
These are getting hard to find in metal. Get this while you can.
