My 15lb pug has an 11” neck and about a 10” length back.The size small fits him well with room to spare.Very good design & quality.The flat step in design & Velcro closure makes it highly adjustable.I think a small dog weighing from about 10 - 16lbs should fit just fine in it.The fabric is so neat!It feels cool to the touch without even wetting it yet & has a thicker feel that gives the impression that it has a cooling gel layer inside but is just the right weight to keep him cool without being bulky or bothersome to him.I am very pleased with my purchase.

the vest works well, cools as promised, but the size came small. My Golden Retriever was labeled with a size, but it ended up being small.

These are made with the same material of the cooling neck towels we use. You wet them and somehow they stay cool and damp, keeping you cool. When they dry they get stiff, but once you wet it it's soft and cool... stays cool until it dries out. So happy they made these for dogs... others don't work very well and may just keep the heat in on your dog. I LOVE THIS. extra small for my 5 lb Miki.

Item was stuck together. Item would not open unless forced. Then parts pulled loose. Incredible waste of time and money. Impossible to use in any way. Would never order from this company again. Never!

I own 3 others of these made of this type of material. The others out perform this one by far.In a pinch it does the job if you're villagent.It does fit this guy a little tight, he's a fat chihuahua with short legs and short body. He's wearing a small, and sizing says should go up to chest 19.7", and neck to 11". Usually the neck of things end up extremely large on him and I have to modify so I rely on the chest, so addmitly I did not measure his neck, his neck meaures 11.5" and his chest measures 18.75". Day after photo was taken, I didnt closed the velcro the last 3" towards his head, and folded it back like one would a standard dress shirt, this helped significantly with the pysical fit of it for him.Unlike the other ones I own, it doesn't seem to fully dry.My dog knows what the cooling jacket it and what it does. He wears them when he travels to softball tournaments with me. He will let anyone around know when he thinks it's hot outside, and he will let them know when he wants the cooling jacket.Once it's on as long as it remains wet he does not want it off. Unfortunately once it starts to warm up, it loses its effectiveness quickly.For my guy I have to fight with him to get it off of him and cool the underside of it back down when he has it on.This is the first time I e experienced him telling me he's still hot while wearing a wet cooling jacket, at 80 degrees. He usually doesn't complain about the heat until it's either 85 for extended period of time, or closer to 90.As I said in a pinch, when the others are buried in the car with the softball stuff and daily temperatures hit over 100 degrees for the 4 day in a row, and no AC, and inside temperature hovered around 85, it does the job.Today as day 5 managed to stay just below 100, and facing 4 more days before the temperature is supposed to drop below 90, I am grateful for this one as I was able to order it mid day, and it arrived by noon the following whereas others were 1-2 weeks put on shipping.I could not however, leave him with this version at a softball complex while I am on a field for 90 minutes.It can find a home in the new house until things are settled and AC can be installed and work there.

I was really concerned about my pug over heating so I got this cooling vest. I believe it makes a big difference in keeping him cool and comfortable. He pants much less with the vest on. I am very happy with the material and the medium size was perfect for my 14lbs pug.

This cooling shirt is essential for my black lab in the summer. I spray the shirt with the hose before a walk and it stays nice and cool. The material is similar to a chamois/shammy, so it stiffens once dry. The large perfectly fits my 50lb lab.

This is a lightweight jacket made of material you might find in the auto department for drying off a car after a wash. It holds a good amount of water and when it dries out it gets stiff. It does seem to increase the temperature the dog can tolerate so I am happy with it.It did not get 5 stars because the Velcro closure does not allow for much adjustment since the two strips are parallel to each other vs if the bottom Velcro was multiple strips perpendicular to to the top strip then it could grab over a wider range.

This jacket great for my dog with being diabetic I can keep my dog cool indoors and outdoors from a long day at the beach or in the bush keeps him cool for 4-6 hours .
