My daughter loves having more of a variety of foods to try. She is a curious one so this was perfect to get for her. Not only is it a cheaper option that the store, but there are more flavors.

I've been trying out the Gerber Purees 2nd Foods Veggie & Fruit Variety Pack for my 10-month-old, and I've been really pleased with it. It's been a great way to introduce her to different fruits and veggies, and the variety keeps mealtime interesting for her.The pack comes with a good mix of flavors. Some days we go for fruits like apples or pears, and other days we try veggies like carrots or peas. It's nice to have options, especially when you're trying to figure out what your little one likes. And honestly, she seems to enjoy most of them, which is a win in my book.What I really like about these purees is how smooth they are. I don't have to worry about lumps that might make my daughter gag, which was a concern with some other brands I've tried. Plus, the consistency makes it really easy to mix with cereal or yogurt for a more filling meal.They're super convenient, too. On busy days when I don't have time to make something from scratch, I can just grab one of these, and I know she's getting something healthy. The fact that they're portable is great for on-the-go meals, like when we're out running errands or at a playdate.I also appreciate that they're made with no added sugars or artificial flavors. I ordered this variety pack on Sun, 8/4, and received it Tues, 8/6, so shipping was very fast. The "best by" (BB) date on the outer box is 2/28/25, which is not quite 7 months out.As I was hoping for 9, 10, or more months of product viability, I chatted with Gerber's help line today to ask about the shelf life of newly manufactured product and I learned that this particular batch of product was manufactured on 2/21/24. That means the BB date was set for 1 year + 1 week into the future.Initially I thought that meant that the product I received sat in a warehouse somewhere for 5 months before it shipped to me, but now I know that's not the whole story.When I opened the box, I found that the BB dates vary by flavor. The shortest life, with a BB of 2/28/25 is on the Chicken Noodle. That's the date on the outer box.The other 4 flavors have BB datesof 3/31/25, 4/30/25, another 4/30/25, and 5/31/25 so their shelf life in my cupboard will range from 7-10 months.These are great dinners for our little one & I'm happy that most of the items in the box had longer shelf lives than the outer box said.

Love this for starting purées with baby. Loved trying the different flavors for the first time. Only complaint I have is they seem fruit heavy, we ran out of vegetables quick. I would’ve also loved a little more variety, more greens and less apples.

We received the old packaging but should be okay. The earliest expiration is August 2025. Should be fine as long as I feed our baby that first. Other flavors’ expiration dates vary from October to November 2025 and January 2026. Always check each one to be sure. Our son seems to like all the flavors.

Baby food was popular many years ago. It wasn't until my grandsons visit to the doctor did we discover he was low in iron. Which was affecting his other labs. I purchased the baby food for him Immediately. knowing that the food was rich in iron. In just one week his iron levels have improved. The easy part of this was he really liked the taste.
