Dekor 18 Gauge 2 Conduit Low Voltage Black Wire 100' Length Spool for Outdoor Use

This seems to be a very good quality product. Was rewiring some Vista landscape lights and thought the 16 ga wire available locally would be too large. So I ordered this 18 ga. Turns out this wire has about the same outside dimension as the 16 ga. However it is much more flexible and worked like a charm. Easiest rewire I’ve done in this type fixture with all the little holes and difficult turns. If it will go through the holes, you’ll like it.

This is very high quality stranded landscape wire, with thick insulation, the best wire of this type that I have ever seen. Perfect for rewiring landscape lights and for short wire runs to add more lights. It is a little pricey, but the quality makes up for it. I will buy this again, when I need more 18 gauge wire.

Heavy duty stuff. Looks like it will survive many years outdoors in our Michigan environment. I am using it to connect the security cameras outside the house. By carefully stripping the insulation, I was able to solder the wire to the 2.1mm barrel connectors used to power the cameras then feed the wire through the barrel connector's plastic boot. Will definitely use it again as I add additional security cameras.

Nice wire, but a little on the pricey side. I used this in a direct burial application illuminating pillars in a retaining wall. Looks like it'll resist the elements well and give me years of trouble-free service.

I don't usually do reviews, but thought it was comical that a spool of wiring couldn't be fulfilled with a brand new product. As i only needed 30' of wire.. i will not be checking actual cable length that was provided but upon looking it did look odd that the wiring was in the middle of the spool vs. being full on the roll. 2 stars due to damaged spool with scrapes from previous owner and not a full spool.

Needed some 18 gauge for our low voltage lights. Couldn't find it anywhere except here...so we restrung the lights.
