It's fantastic! The I finally finished the book out with Minuet and the notes and fingering positions were very helpful I honestly liked it a bit more than the third book!

We love the Suzuki book, even if we don't perfectly use Suzuki method. It is excellent for introducing kids to the common repertoire, providing basic and progressive instruction, and developing the ear when used in conjunction with the CD recordings or repeat demonstration from a qualified violin playing parent. Really, the presentation of these Suzuki books is enjoyable, and the tunes pleasant to listen to once mastered.

Not the most current version. Fingerings have been adjusted in newer versions. Had to order newer version to be in sync in group classes and throw this one out. Might be fine if your teacher does not mind if you use the old fingerings but ours did.

Bought this book several months ago as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Now working on these songs we realize his is not a completed print. There are several songs that we not printed in the back of the book. Also it didn't include the cd with it.

I love the Suzuki method for my students! I think its easy for students to learn with and helps them understand how to play well.

Like this has all fingers notes to remind where to go when play for beginner.Also can listen on YouTube as so many people has uploaded their master performances, thank you both.

This is an excellent book for players of grade 3 and above. A good selection of interesting and tuneful classics for the learner to enjoy. The pieces would also be suitable for small concert performances. An enjoyable addition to any learner's repertoire.

This is the old edition, but still very useful. We just needed a song so it's good to have this second handed. Delivery was quick and condition of the book very good - a bargain!

Well as a second hand book, it' ok. It took more than a week to come and it has pencil marks. Overall it was ok.

Old version and was published in 1994, not clear in the description of the item when I bought it. Also some Japanese and German small prints in the book!
