These were around $10 and worth that all day.Very similar to Tasco or Simmons level of performance in their 10x42 or 8x42 roof prisms.These are 8x by the way not 10x. Sorry I measured them compared to other known 8's and 10's.BAK-4? wouldn't bet on it for this price and non ISO standardized company, lol.Time will tell but these still seem pretty good.IX57? lol what does that mean? Sounds like a steak sauce.These are NOT waterproof by any means.I left these on my porch with some other binoculars for evening viewing, and we had a fairly gooddew as temps dropped.ALL of them, including these, fogged on the INSIDE of the binocular.Id not take them on a once in a lifetime safari, but I'd use them everyday on my porch and be quite satisfied with their clarity for $10.

Its so light it practically disappears on your belt. I hardly feel it, obviously its no contest to my Orion 20x80 but its definitely a good binoculars to tote along hiking ultralight where you did not envision a need for a binocular. Its size made it an interesting conversation piece too. People often and ask about it and they are amazed to see through it and realize its not just a toy. It is especially well received by kids.It feels cheap but so far its been fairly durable. Its been rained on... and survived. Most of the time I carry it into orchestras or choir concerts. Its been a hit with the other audiences.cons: mostly the pouch... the Velcro section on the flap is a tiny square and pretty much rendered useless after a few openings. I stitched on a wider strip and that fixed that.

Nice for car trips and casual birding.

I purchased this binocular and also the Cycsis 10 X 42 binocular since I couldn't decide which one to go for. I'm convinced they are the same binocular. Both are great for viewing. The differences were in the features. This one had a comfortable neck strap while the Cycsis did not. But I preferred the Cycsis phone attachment over the one that came with this model. I solved all my issues by switching to keep the features I liked and will gift the other for Christmas. The neck strap on this model made it my first choose.

I got out into the woods alot and needed some binoculars, these work nice, I might get a smaller one tho cause this one is a little heavy when you have to hold it for awhile. But I like it

Look like cheap knockoff of my Nikon Monarch 5 10x42 but the performance is almost equal. They aren't as fog proof in my high humidity location but other than that they perform on par with the Nikons. There is no way that the Nikons are 7 times better as their cost would indicate. Definitely recommend. At $40 you won't be sorry.

We have taken these up to our favorite camping trips and they work amazing. You can really get the best views with them and at night you can have lots of fun looking at some stars.
