I needed 20mm remover for McGard locking wheel bolts - worked brilliantly!
This is the only set with a 20mm remover which fits McGard locking wheel bolts exactly. Knock on with a heavy hammer and be sure to use some penetrating oil first. You will need a big vice to hold the removed bolt to unscrew the remover. Set of bolts removed in 10 minutes. Brilliant!

You have to be quite brutal hammering these on but did the job perfectly
My Audi Q3 rear nearside locking wheel bolt was seized on and it was beginning to damage the bolt head. I realised this in time and loosened the other three before continuing to attempt removing it. After a few more goes realised that the locking wheel bolt head was not going to be reusable even if I could remove it. I then did some research on the internet which led me eventually to this wheel lock nut removal kit. Once ordered it arrived on time, as shown and as described. From my research I had worked out that before I could use the tool I would have to remove the spinning outer ring on the stuck bolt. once I had done this I selected the correct size removal tool from the kit placed it carefully on the nut and using a hammer tapped it on. Once I thought it was secure enough to attach my breaker bar I did so and began to apply pressure to unscrew the stuck bolt. The tool has a left handed thread which is supposed to turn and gradually tighten on the bolt until it undoes it. Unfortunately on my first attempt the tool would not tighten as expected. I then started again by not just tapping the tool onto the stuck bolt but hammered it on as hard as I dare. I then reattached my breaker bar. Once I applied some pressure I soon began to feel the tool biting into the bolt head and after about only a quarter of a turn I felt a sort of crack as it suddenly turned the bolt loose. Of course my feelings were mainly relief but also what a brilliant tool! Really very happy! Great tool if used correctly. Recommended.

Does the Job - just be careful
Bought this to get four locking wheel nuts off my Jaguar XF as I had lost the locking wheel nut socket. Noted that some people complained that the sockets cracked or broke. First wheel nut came off really easy, second wheel a little harder and third one came off slightly harder again. I was unable to get a good grip on the fourth wheel nut at which point the 23mm socket cracked. Of course by this stage I found the locking wheel nut.....Aaaargh In hindsight it might have been better to use a block of wood to hit the socket into nut. At £17 to get three nuts off was Ok when the alternative socket set from Laser was advertised at £89, Im okay with the purchase and it did what I wanted.

Really fantastic does exactly what it says
Very good stud remover 7 good sizes to cover small to large the larger 2 are great as most sets do not go up to this size and perfect for removing locking nuts with damaged or lost locking key ...ordamaged stud as was the problem with mine the ridges on the stud that the key lines up to broke 3 teeth....this twist socket locked onto the stud nut and removed. The socket is very strong and you can see the quality and feel it. Andy

Good grief
Didn't work for me, I guess you need a sledge hammer, but these sockets are so short I only had about 5mm to play with....so if your nuts are easy to reach (oh matron!) they'll work a treat, but for me a waste of effort and bruising 🫣 I guess I'll have to pay an expert with his welder....can you return stuff that you've hammered the cr@p out of?

Works well
You have to remember to remove the protective collar out of the security nut to remove it. Because it will just stuck in a circular motion without any effect.

Les douilles n'ont pas tenue du tout. L'acier n'est même pas durci et s'est dégradé des le premier coup de clé.

They removed the rounded off lug nuts with no problem. An impact wrench is needed. The biggest difficulty is getting the nut out of the remover afterward. I used a decent sized locking plyer and stepped on it while using the impact to back it off.

This lug lock remover was used to remove a severely lug nut that a lug nut remover could not remove. The problem was the two part Jeep lug nut separated (as they often do) into the tin shell and the threaded portion that goes on the stud. The metal on this now separated lug nut is soft and easily damaged. Several tools were used to try to get it off. First of course was a 19mm lug wrench which didn't work because without the shell, the lug nut was no longer 19mm. The first use of the 19mm socket rounded off the corners slightly and thus began the downward spiral. A smaller socket would likely do the trick but it only made the problem worse rounding off the corner even more. So the solution was to use my Craftsman 3/8 inch drive lug nut remover set. Sadly, no luck with this tool either. By now the soft metal of this lug nut is almost completely round. Even trying to hammer on the Craftsman sockets didn't work. The next attempt was to try to weld a rod onto the deteriorating lug nut. If I could weld on a lug nut that had a sheared off stud or weld bar onto the lug nut I could use a lug wrench or a breaker bar and get the lug nut off. The welding didn't take and damaged the aluminum wheel. The lug nut itself had seen better days. It was more than chewed up and had weld spatter in places. Some more research is required. After many YouTube videos of others struggling with this same issue I was not very optimistic, that the lug would come off without much time, a damaged wheel and/or other damaged parts that would have be replaced afterwards. It was then I found the U.S.PRO AT136 lug lock removal tool on Amazon. Thought the name of the tool said it was for lug LOCKS, the threaded design was the right solution for my situation. I ordered the set. It arrived. I put it on my damaged lug nut and voila! This by far was the easiest removal I have ever made. 100% approval of this tool. It's a game changer. It works on damaged lug nuts so it should also work removing lug locks. If this is your problem, buy a set and end your suffering. You can thank me later.

It works well most of the times. But it does wear out ,which is normal for the price.
