InCharacter Costumes Duck Dynasty Uncle Si Costume

Made a perfect Si Robertson costume. I had to tease the hair a bit to fluff it up and the ponytail was a bit lacking so I sprayed my own ponytail with silver hair color. The glasses don't have any lenses, which was perfect, and the beard fit great. I had to slide it down to eat and drink, but that was ok. The vest is thin, but it fit. I wore a greenish T-shirt and Camo pants and carried a blue tumbler to complete the costume.

I was a bit disappointed by the quality of the beard as it made talking a bit of a challenge. Not very comfortable to have on for a long period of time as the elastic bands for the beard which goes around the ears pull down the ears a bunch. Had several other people try on the beard and all agreed that it seemed to be a beard for children dress up rather than adults... Maybe I just got a bad batch? Or maybe it is simply not made for guys who are bigger (I am 6'3 220 lbs).The hat comes with a wig attached to it to give you that Uncle Si pony tale and gray hair pushing out from the sides... The Camouflage top fits over any style shirt. I would recommend a plaid shirt or brown long sleeve as shown in the picture.Other companies offer the Uncle Si tea cup with this product, but from the reviews of others, it is not really worth the extra dollars... you would be better off going to your local dollar store and getting a "jug" instead.The glasses that come with the costume are "glassless" meaning there is no glass in the frame. They fit perfect on a guy like me... Again, I am a bigger guy too!Overall I am pleased with the product and have the capability to fix the beard in time for Halloween to suite my needs.

This costume is fun to wear, my husband enjoys it! The hat comes with attached a ponytail in the back and curls in the front, the glasses are rimmed frames and do not not have glass. The beard has elastic to secure over the ears. The fit is perfect..this is an adult costume and not for young kids, though it will fit teens. He does not like the Duck Dynasty label on the front of the vest (like a walking advertisement)and the back of the vest is brown and not camouflage color like the front. The Uncle Si cup is petite...two-inches round at the bottom, so for a large hand it's a bit awkward to hold the cup. "That's my story and I'm sticking to it," he says, just like Uncle Si. From the minute he put on the costume he started quoting Uncle Si..and just like Silas Robertson, he would not keep quiet! We are pleased with the purchase and look forward to a few Duck Dynasty parties in our home. He found the costume useful for annoying our kids as well, they keep saying "Dad....stop it! You are not Uncle Si"I looked online at other costume stores and the cup was not included, plus the price was higher than Amazon. With Amazon Prime I received the costume three days after placing my order and the costume stores wanted 2 weeks for delivery.

Celebrating Mardi Gras Si style!!!!

I recieved this item a lot sooner than the estimated delivery date so I am happy about that. I ordered this because my boyfriend really wanted to be Si for halloween and there are no stores near us that sell it and amazon had it for the cheapest price. I guess the costume is OKAY. I have to remind myself that it is a halloween costume and it's pretty good for one, it could definitely be a lot worse. The vest is a decent material, it's not very big, I would compare it to maybe a 2xl or 3xl in men, it has two ties on the back that tightens it if you're smaller. The hat is alright, it's kind of weird, definitely not a ball cap, it's got elastic all around it, the hair that's attatched to it is in a ponytail in the back with two spiral curls on either side that go in front of the ears. The beard is TERRIBLE. Seriously you'd be better off just tossing this beard and buying a different beard. The glasses are okay I guess, not sure what to really say about them, they're just the frames, no lenses in them. All in all I'm not to happy with this costume and neither is my boyfriend, I could have made him a MUCH better one for Cheaper than this.

This is a post Halloween review, since I have worn the costume on Halloween night. Everyone that came up to the house for Trick or Treat really liked the Uncle Si outfit. I wore it to hand out candy to the kids and I was surprised how many of them knew about Uncle Si and Duck Dynasty. I got a lot of comments from both the kids and the adults about the costume. As far as I know I was the only one in town on Halloween night who was wearing a Duck Dynasty costume. I didn't see or hear about anyone else who was wearing one. I liked the costume and it fit me really good and I am probably about the size of Uncle Si, so I would say I got my money's worth on this outfit. Good costume and the price was right.

Fun costume for Duck Dynasty fans.. got many laughs

The costume itself is just OK, and the quality is what you would expect - fairly cheap materials,which is fine for a Halloween costume. The thing that bothered me the most was the actual beard. There are NO instructions, and the only way I could find to attach the beard was to loop the elastic bands around my ear. I gotta tell ya, it friggin' hurt my ears, as the elastic band is simply too tight. I'm averaged-sized (6' tall) and have a "normally" shaped/sized head. If they could only make the quality of the beard straps better and, most importantly, make the strap length adjustable, I would have had a better experience. Also, you really cannot talk (not to mention eat or drink) while wearing the beard, as the opening between beard and mustache is just a thin slit. It's very clear, looking back now, that they heavily altered the appearance/functionality of the costume itself to make it look a lot more natural. Again, if the beard situation were not so poor, I would have probably rated this as a 4 star-costume. Next time I will spend more money and get a beard/fake hair that I can actually adhere to my skin, which would make it look a lot more realistic. More time, but also a better effect.
