Mark Richard 3/4 Piece 57 Inches 60 Inches Handmade Snooker Cue Kit - Aluminium - Leather Case - Ash Shaft

I have a higher end cue, this is a 2nd cue, and I can say this cue is well made and feels good. The 3/4 air joint is very nice, extensions are solid and well made, the case is also very nice but it could be a little wider as the longer part of the cue doesn't fit flush down in it's slot, but that's fine. There are a few slightly rougher areas on the cue where the finish sanding could have been a little more thorough, but for the most part it feels smooth and nice, and play isn't affected. I weighed the cue and mine is about 18.3 oz (which I'm very happy with this weight), and it feels well balanced. To me the cue has nice feel, even with the original tip that came on it, after a little shaping. I'm very happy with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cue to any player even at an intermediate level and maybe slightly above. It would be nice if this cue also came in a 58", and a further bonus if the range for weight was a bit more narrow as opposed to 18-19.5 oz. because that is quite a big range, as every half oz. is quite noticeable at least for myself. However, I understand to be able to supply cues at this price it's probably not possible.

If you're looking for a good, solid cue for personal use, look no further.The cue is straight, the locking joint is flush and solid with a nice vacuum seal. The handle is a nice black blue finish. The tip it came with was shaped well, but I'll likley end up replacing it as it's a little too hard for my preference. The extensions are solid too, the joints on them are just as tough.The case is well made and locks well. I'm impressed.There's no person named Mark Richard though. It's merely a name picked to mimic the western cue makers like John Parris. That said, don't let this chinese made cue scare you away.Snooker is popular in China and they've made great strides in quality. This piece shows it.There might be better out there for tournaments and pros but honestly, there's no reason to spend so much $$$ when this will do everything you ask.

It’s a good stick, but I would hesitate to call it great. The cue has a weird feel out of the box, which was packaged extremely well by amazon and the company that made the cue. The weight was okay for me and the feel was nice overall. What I didn’t like was the misleading picture of the tip shown in the product images. The image shows a nice tip with plenty of depth for long-term use, but the cue received has a very shallow tip that looks like it will NEED a to be replaced after very few months of average use. It’s shallow and has little “meat” to it. I would love if the tip was as shown or the company could ship one for replacement but otherwise a great product.

This is a heavier cue than I've been used to but it's got great power and draw. The shaft is bullet straight and the tip, while small, is good enough to play with. The ash shaft is less smooth than I would like but I think I can polish it smoother. I've put away my old light cue (a Riley made in England) and I'm playing exclusively with this new cue and enjoying it.It worth mentioning the case and attachments. The case is excellent. Very good quality construction with three clasps to secure it. The two attachments give the player the ability to lengthen the cue for those awkward shots or to use with a rest if needed.Overall a very nice cue, case and accessories and excellent value for money.

I must admit my expectations were quite high for this product and in the end it is fine. The main concern I had was with the tip as it seemed to be lacking in depth. I thought it was ground down and when I compared it to the picture it does seem quite thin. Probably wont last as long as I anticipated.I tried it out at the local snooker club and the feel is nice so I like it with the exception of the tip which concerns me.Hard to know if this is just me or if the cue as evidenced by the tip was used.

It's amazing what you get for the price. I'm a pool player and wanted a snooker ball set and snooker cue for occasional snooker play on my 9' pool table. The shaft on this cue is as straight as an arrow. I've never held a snooker cue before, but this feels very nice with a nice balance and taper. And it comes with a nice hard case and extensions. What more could you ask for?

Very good cue to get started, I use it to play American pool and it works all fine; the tip is kind of soft and there is a lot of spin; very good kit and case, straight and beautiful; P.S. you need to sandpaper the shaft because there is slight paint, otherwise it stops feeling smooth.

This is a very fine quality cue. Whole package is very good. Great balance, straight chevrons in line with flat. 9.8mm tip taper is professional. Can't wait play a few frames.

I purchased the Ebony cue on Tuesday 23/02/17 and it arrived on Friday 03/02/17, one day before the estimated delivery date which is excellent. The cue itself looks amazing, definitely worth the money. The cue it straight as an arrow and moves through the bridge-hand so smoothly. The cue tip which came with it wasn't great but I had planned to replace it anyway so it didn't bother me too much. Regarding the installation of the new tip, ensure that you know what you're doing as it is a lot trickier than it looks! I did manage to replace it and shape it how I wanted (in the end).The case is quite... well.. eye catching to say the least. You won't get lost in a crowd whilst holding in. It feels sturdy and the inside has a partition for the 3/4 shaft on one side and the 1/4 butt and two extenders on the other. It would've been nice if there was a section for chalk but nothing some cardboard and duct tape couldn't fix.My only negative with the cue was that it feels like there is too much of the finishing coat in places. I'd imagine it was were the cue was lying down as a finisher was applied. Not the end of the world but just means that there are a few spots with a slight bump.

ABSOLUTE BARGAIN.. separately the case retails for £30 (Amazon), The mini butt & extender £25 (Ebay) which means you're getting a hand made ebony, maple and ash cue for £14..!! CASE : apart from looking like you're carrying around your own personal zebra crossing the case is solid and well built. The catches (3) are a little flimsy but adequate, same as the carry handle. The case interior is well finished with space for the cue, accessories, chalk and tip shaper. ACCESSORIES: The mini butt is made of composite high density plastic and the extender is made of aluminium.. both pieces have a quality feel..!! The best bit CUE: I must have been lucky as the cue I received was perfectly straight, finish excellent and feel is spot on. It screws together perfectly with no ridges or high spots. The matt finish makes the cue super slippy especially through the bridge. A wipe between frames and you're ready to go again. At 9.2mm the tip is a good compromise between snooker (half mm too small) and English pool (half mm too big).. tip size is an individual thing but even the stock tip (After a good shaping) gives good control in both games. A switch to an Elkmaster Pro tip can only improve what is already an excellent package. I might never become a quality player but with one of these at least I feel like I just might make it..!! EXCELLENT PRODUCT for the money.. Highly recommended.

Beautiful cue. Very well made, smooth and well balanced. Worth every penny. Extensions have a real quality feel to them too. Highly recommended.The case though - whoever thought of that design must have been blind! Wow! Shocking! I'll have to find a way of re-covering the case or stripping the cover or something before someone sees it!The quality of the case is fine however. It could've done with a section for chalk but that's no biggie.. I'm just knocking a star off for the design.

Cue has good realistic pricing and good weight with a lovely feel, however, not fully straight, the end has a slight bend in it, therefore have to turn the cue in certain direction to get good shots!! I will use it for now but will replace it in the not to distant future! My Cuesoul was dead straight!! If you want a top review send me an end piece that is dead straight!!

Was great value for money .Made from crap wood but that being said if u went and bought a proper cue and got the guy to change the connections for the 1 on this cue so the butt extension would fit , u got 2 extension and a case so your still up

Brilliant, my step son (25) was very very impressed with this!! and he's always at the snooker hall in his spare time and also plays for a pub team everything is quality!! (He says) I told him that the que tip was not the greatest (according to previous reviews) but he said he'll leave it on n see how it goes if it is really no good he'll change it to a different que tip

The extension is very poor the inside tube came straight out leaving the plug inside the large tube, unable to get the plug out of the large tube, this has had minimal use so should not happen.otherwise the cue is very good value and plays well despite the problem with the extension i would recommend this

Beautiful cue. Not over varnished or "sticky" and slots together perfectly. Good quality case too. An absolute bargain for the price. I've recommended these to all my friends.

I Love this Que its great very straight and smooth to use nice and clean very good quality fixtures smooth conection to extentions. With very smooth clean joints. Well worth the money extremely happy with the performance nice solid contact with balls nice solid shaft. Que box is great very strong and durable.

It has a 1 year guarantee for a reason. Really impressed with the quality. The flat of the butt alligns perfectly with the chevrons running down the cue. The tip is perfectly flush and the cue is perfectly straight. Thank you!

It’s a decent cue once a decent tip has been applied. A word of caution though, I was hit with a £20 import tax bill making this a bit more expensive than it appears

I likeed it but the cue is much different ,like in the picture res it's fine
