Q: Is the label mostly in french?

The label is in French but the ingredient and nutrition info is in English.

Q: The mustard arrived today, and it is very concerning to my family, the paper seal was torn and the mustard does not seem to have any protection ?

I would contact amazon or the seller, but amazon first and tell them that it looks like it has been opened and I would think they would replace it rather than have a customer give a review if they had gotten sick. If in doubt throw it out, but in this case contact amazon before you do anything and explain with the seal broken you have no idea if it is safe to eat (good choice in mustard). I would not use it in this crazy world you never know, good luck!

Q: What kind of lid does it have?

A red plastic pull off...push back on lid... A bit hard to pull off may use utensil. But great stuff.

Q: does this mustard contain wheat?

have not the foggiest, but it is by far the best mustard I have ever had.
