Welcome to the UFC at it's best!
I own the first UFC for the original Playstation which was fairly horrible aside from it's roster as well as the demo which wasn't real great itself and for Dreamcast, which was fair, and used to on Gameboy Color which was acceptable. I used to have this game for Playstation 2, but accept for the mode where you could create your own fighter, it wasn't all that much better then an average game, and the demo was not that great but worth having. I briefly owned Sudden Impact on Playstation 2, and got rid of it because it was pretty bad from what I remember, but the demo was great and easily the ultimate UFC demo game. I own UFC Undisputed 2010 on PSP and it's pretty good. But this game is quite awesome. It has lots of characters and a great amount of modes. Even though there is not much you can do in the mode where you make your own fighter unlike in the Playstation 2 version, it is still truly a great game. But not in every way. And I must say this is easily the best UFC to date. However, for overall perfection, I would say it's not a bad game.

"OK" for when it came out. Garbage by todays standards.
I bought this a many years ago when it first came out. It was not that great, but it was basically the best you could get at the time. By todays standards, watching a "load" screen would probably be more entertaining....

R U UFC?
This game is a good fighter for those who arent big fighter fans. If u luv games like tekken and street fighter, then this game will be so easy it makes u sick. However, if u hate those games or want to get started, this game will be perefect. Or, if yur like me, love the ... out of UFC this game is awesome. By the way, I played it on all 3 major platforms and the Ps2 and XBox versions arent that good. The Gamecube version is the version were this game reigns! So if u are a beginner of fighting games or like the UFC. Pick this one up.

not cool
This game is kinda unrealistic...because for example in this game once an oponent gets u in a submission you tap out automatically and in the real ufc that does not happen like that...also the submissions come out of no where its unrealistic...like for example I was boxing one of the fighters and they did some kind of jump thing and locked an armbar on me while we were standing there boxing, thats terribley unrealistic...also when your on the ground for the cpu to flip u over is way too easy and sometimes its terriblely hard to get them off of you...it is an ok game but it is just so unrealistic when it comes to the fighting.
