Seem very sturdy for the speakers I use. Attentive Seller
Rockville Pair RVES1 Adjustable Tripod DJ PA Speaker Stands +Carry Bag/Universal. This is the second set I ordered because the first set has worked out so well for me. I've been gigging all summer long since May, sometimes using them 3 times per week. The stands seem very sturdy for my needs and don't feel cheap. I use them with a pair of Bose S1 Pro speakers, each weighs around 15 pounds.I purchased them "used" at a discounted price. The only thing "used" was the box. The bag, and the stands looked new. I had an issue with the order because only one came in the box so I contacted the seller and they quickly responded and were apologetic. They told me what I needed to do. I complied, and they replaced the order fairly quickly. It wasn't next-day service because I had to send the first order back but they paid the shipping. They kept in communication with me and offered me three solutions. I chose a replacement and it came quickly with free shipping via UPS Ground. This time, there were two speaker stands and again, the box was beaten up, but I don't think the stands were ever used. They were wrapped up as new without a mark or scratch on them. I feel the seller is trustworthy and attentive to my needs, and I would buy from them again.UPDATE..I continue to be happy with the purchase. The only issue I've had is the cord that keeps the safety pin attached to the stand. It came out of the plastic connector, meaning the pin is no longer attached to the stand and could become misplaced. I solved that by replacing both cords with a small black shoelace tied in place. The shoelaces are more robust than the original, and I don't have to worry about the second original one coming loose. Other than that minor issue, I would buy these again and stand by my 5-star review.

Solid and adequate...but spec isn't correct
The Rockville RVES1 Pair is a good, solid set of speaker tripods for general use, and I've used many lower-end stands that were inferior, but cost more.Because these will be used mostly for outdoor events, one feature I truly appreciate is that the bottom center tube is well-above ground level when the legs are deployed, making these ideal for uneven terrain. (NOTE: For safety and stability, please always level speaker stands and confirm they're stable.)I like the Rockville equipment I've used, and believe they offer an excellent value in the self-branded products they offer, while meeting a real need for reliable sound reinforcement gear at lower price points. Why not 5 stars for the stands? One of the reasons I chose the RVES1 was the specified leg spread of between 15 and 40 inches, as found in the user manual, and in some on-line specs... (which are inconsistent, with some sites listing 32"). The maximum leg spread on the set I received was 31 inches. This isn't critical for the 12" speakers I'm putting on them, but it would be less-than-ideal, and possibly unstable, for 15" speakers. The second disappointment was the statement about lowering the speakers found on-line, "User needs a speaker on the stand to lower it because it lowers with weight." This would infer there is a pneumatic check valve in the lower tube to slow the descent of heavier speakers which would be a great feature. This is not the case. Fortunately, this will also not have a significant effect on my use, but it's still a shame this feature isn't included on the RVES1.In spite of these two notes, I believe these stands will do do their job well, and I won't hesitate to recommend them to others when they're appropriate to the task.
