I Love These!
Where has this tool been all my life!?!? This is really worth the money, especially if you work on guitar electronics. The tool can reach in to very tight places to make precision cuts and trim excess solder or wire. They are well made and very sharp. I hope I never lose mine but I'll won't hesitate to immediately order another pair.

Cuts flush to surface, oxide can chip, satisfying spring action
Excellent tool, makes me happy using it. Perfectly grippy handle. Great spring action. Seems very reliable. The black coating on cutter surfaces is already chipping a bit though, from trimming electrical component leads. But the feel in hand feels satisfying to me. This will truly cut things flat to the surface, very precisely, if you want it to. Amazing quality for the price.

Sometimes cheaper is better!
Let me start by saying I have become very skeptical of reviews. Sometimes people put a rating as soon as they get something ... sometimes they don't know how to use it ... sometimes ....I very seldom put up a review, but after a couple weeks of using these cutters, I had to say something. I bought three sets of cutters ranging from $6 to $24. These were the cheapest and so far the best!I am a machinist by trade but build control panels for a living. I bought these to replace some cheap older ones. When I first got them, I had my doubts ... but I was wrong! They are light but that makes them easy to handle. They are relatively small but they fit my hand well. I have only used them to trim electrical parts (resistors, capacitors, ..) and to cut stranded wire ... so far they work great. The cutters are sharp and the jaws align well. The slightly blunt tip allowed me to push into the sheath of a three conductor cord and cut the outer insulation without cutting the inner conductors (the cord cost $250 and I needed to be very very careful). The cutters are slightly angled and cut flush ... they work great! I think they will also work great for hobby work like building plastic models.I have a Hakko soldering iron that is now about 25 years old ... still going strong. If these Hakko cutters last half as long, I will be super happy!I now have four in my tool collection.Sometimes cheaper is better!

Great Cutters!
The blades of the jaws align with no visible flaws, the hinge moves effortlessly with no slop. Cuts all wires I tested with cleanly, with no visible marks on the blades. Not the sharpest of blades, but they get the job done. I have no complaints.

Simple but works
I clippers to remove black zip ties outdoor. They are small, sharp, and easy to use. Worked like a charm.

Great price and nice little nippers!
Great price! I use these for cutting thin gauge wire and plastic model sprues and for those tasks they work very well!

Excellent!
These are terrific quality, great value and very helpful for tighter areas that you need to get into for household projects. Easy to use, good grip, highly recommend. I needed a tool to snip the zip tie holding the filter screen in place, this does a great job!
