Doesn’t work
Extremely shallow embossing on the rolling pin leads to almost no imprint on the dough, even with strong pressure.

Roll dough out thicker to get better imprint
I used a short bread cookie dough. It took a bit of getting used to rolling it . First pan cookies too thin and print really didn’t show. Rolled out dough thicker and once you know just how much pressure to use when rolling the cookies came out better .

Item is too small
I ordered this item thinking that it was in good conditions. When I received it and opened package the handle fall off and it is so tiny. I put the handle back but its twisted and does not turn I'm thinking its for kids to play with. I tried to use it for Christmas for spreading the cookie dough but it was impossible. I would not recommend the product at all. you get what you pay for. I didn't send it back because the return postage was almost as expensive as the purchase. I will probably use it as a decoration for next year.

Not very effective
The grooves in this rolling pin are not deep enough to make a proper pattern on the dough, and the wood is unsealed unable to withstand many washings. Also the entire pin itself is very small.

Just for looks
Making cookies and it does not work not deep enough do not recommend only a novelty does not work as advertised

Nice pattern, but difficult to use
The way the imprint is spaced it's not very practical. You can get just a few cuts if you want the imprint centered. Had to re-roll the dough several times just to get a dozen cookies.

Meh...
Doesn't work all that well depending on what type of dough you use.

can't get the print to show up on baked cookies
When the cookies are baked, the print goes away. I've tried three different recipes, put the dough in the refrigerator before baking, put them in the freezer for a few minutes before baking, I've tried all the tricks!

Disappointing.
Works as a rolling pin but leaves a very faint impression on the biscuit. Imprint in the wooden rolling pin is not sufficiently deep to work.
