I would definitely recommend this badboy for some underwater photos or video, where you want to feel secure with your A7.
This is a pretty decent housing! As far as being waterproof, I haven't got a worry in the world. This badboy locks up completely and is totally waterproof - the water sensor is also pretty sensitive, which is comforting. You can access basically all the buttons really easily as well. It's definitely of Chinese construction - taking into account the hot glue that was keeping two pieces attached inside, but honestly, even with that in mind, it's a great product. I wish it worked with numerous lenses, but that's a wishlist item. My only con on this would be the poor craftsmanship of the interior - which doesn't affect it's functionality.

Underwater Housing shipped with o-rings in closed. Nearly impossible to open when it arrived. UPDATED!
Update below!!!Shipped close with orings in on flight took 4 hours in the fridge to get rid of the overpressure inside. In the manual it tells you only to use provided o-ring silicon and on the next page it says that silicon is an optional accessorie. No o-ring grease was provided. Construction looks decent enough for the price though and I might update this review if it works properly. First impression low though.UPDATE: The camera fits very well and it is sitting tight in the housing and all of the controls and buttons works perfectly. Very nice construction for the price of this housing. Also very helpful seller!
